"The flat white was enjoyable, although the espresso had a slightly over-roasted flavor with a hint of nuttiness, making it less robust in both caffeine and taste. There was a nice variety of scones and pastries; however, the raspberry white chocolate scone was somewhat undercooked and doughy. The menu offers a range of smoothies and beverages for both adults and children, and the service was quick. The venue is very spacious, making it a great spot to relax with friends or family. Prices are a bit above average. For those passing through from out of town, I would rate it a 5 compared to local coffee shops and a 4 in the broader coffee shop scene. Parking is free for a couple of hours."

This is the best small-batch roasted coffee in Iowa! I spent two weeks in Charles City in June 2020 and enjoyed the best hot latte breves I've had since moving away from Washington State in 2013. Their custom roasts and espressos are fantastic.

I absolutely love the Aromas Coffee Shop Roasters in Charles City, Iowa! The Brazil Sierra Negra roasted whole beans are outstanding—very consistent and with minimal chaff. My new espresso machine, the Breville Barista Touch Impress, grinds these beans flawlessly for my morning espresso and afternoon cappuccino. Plus, the shipping for my second order was incredibly fast! I received my Brazil beans just in time. I'm officially hooked on Aromas Coffee Roasters!
