"Great, is it time for a revisit? This restaurant has been a favorite in the past and has even made it onto Austin's top restaurant lists. I was hoping to rekindle my love for it. Unfortunately, after COVID, some things just don't seem to be the same. I'm not sure if the management or kitchen staff has changed, or if it's simply harder to source the same quality ingredients. I will say that the falafel and cooked meat are still among the best in town, but our service experience missed the mark this time. The ambiance felt different, and aside from the meat and falafel, everything else seemed lacking. Would I give it another chance in a few months? Perhaps."

The gyro meat was the best I've ever tasted—absolutely amazing! My husband chose the restaurant for dinner tonight.

The best pizza in town! It's incredibly fresh, with homemade crust and sauce, plus the cheese is absolutely delicious. They also serve hot wings.

My experience was a bit off. I'm not sure if it's just the Monday vibes or what, but the place was completely empty at 1:45. We all opted for the lunch special.

The food was excellent, the ambiance was delightful, and the staff were friendly. We tried the Platter, gyros wrap, wings, pizza, and Baklava, and overall, everything was very enjoyable. View menu

The food was excellent—quick and served hot. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, making it ideal for a night out with a special someone or just for yourself. You can choose to sit at a table or fully embrace the Mediterranean vibe by lounging on one of their cozy cushions on the floor. Either way, kick back and enjoy! View menu

As an Arab, I found the food to be underwhelming. The absence of Arabic staff raised a flag for me, which was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, the atmosphere is lively and the floor layout is charming! However, the food didn't impress me. We ordered two sandwiches—one kebab and one chicken—and had to hunt for the meat, which was quite disheartening. The hummus was too watery and had an overwhelming amount of cumin. Despite the food, the ambiance is really nice.

I was really surprised by the low quality and small portions of food at this highly-rated restaurant. We ordered the gyro plate and the chicken shawarma plate, but unfortunately, the food tasted like it had been prepared for another day. The pita was dry and quite tough, the rice was just plain long grain with no seasonings, and there were only a few pieces of gyro served with tzatziki on the side. While the rice seemed fresh, the overall experience was disappointing. The restaurant itself looked nice, and the staff were friendly, but the food just didn’t compare to other places in Austin that offer the same cuisine.

"I literally just made a review but I’m going to make another one because for whatever reason someone or somehow it got deleted. I used to be a regular at Bouldin and the service was always amazing but my last two visits have been by far horrible. The service has been so poor that I felt disgusted when leaving the restaurant. There are two girls that work there with light brown hair and blue eyes. Pretty sure one of their names is Rego. My boyfriend and I were served by her before and she seemed nothing but annoyed and couldn’t care less if we were in her section. Barley even interacted with us or asked how our meal was and just seemed disgusted by us, just being rude passive aggressive for no reason at all. I’m a server and I KNOW this isn’t how you treat your guests and the same thing happened tonight. She just seemed like she couldn’t care less if we were there and just seemed annoyed? I don’t mind paying the gratuity if I’m being treated decently but that wasn’t the case and I feel as though they feel like they think they can get away with behaving like mean girls just because there’s a gratuity. I have friends that dine here as well and they have had the same experience. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel this needs to come across a managers attention so they know who they are hiring and how they are treating customers. Really disgusted and disappointing and if this gets deleted again I’ll write another review or just call the store to speak to a manager. Disgusted by their behavior."
