"Arroyo's Cafe is a wonderful Mexican restaurant on the lake in Stockton, California. The menu includes a wide range of Mexican dishes and meals. This was our first trip to Arroyo's Cafe, the service and food were excellent! The meal was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. You can see the lake from the restaurant and there is a bar, dance floor, and stage set up for the band! Do yourself a favor and give Arroyo's Cafe a try, you'll love it for sure! They sat with my team at a huge table and were just so friendly. Eating was wonderful, many options at really cheap prices, atmosphere of the entire restaurant is welcoming. If I had to come to criticism with something, I would say that I wish my chicken in my meal was more spiced, but that comes mainly to personal preference. Definitely recommend.

We try to go at least once month or more! They have the best menudo, beans ,tacos and tortillas in town! I have been eating here since I was a little girl. My dad and Mr. Arroyo were life long friends. He was my grandfather's cook as a young man at our ranch. In fact,. He lent him money to open his first restaurant.
