"Being a regular at Ming Wah, the owners were telling me they were opening a fish market up the street. I was uber excited, being that I love fish, and fried at that!!! So once they opened I had to experience this place. First let me say, the owners bend over backwards to accomodate your needs and explain anything that needs to be explained. Now to the food, can you say good down home southern fried fish !!!! I love fish that is fried in corn meal, it gives it more flavor to me, and the fixing are just as tasty. But they also sell chinese food as well. Being a new business they have their hand on the pulse of how a business should be ran! I see them being there for a long time to come!!!"

This was some of the best seafood I've ever had. The prices were very reasonable for the generous portions. The fish, shrimp, and oysters were outstanding—everything appeared to be hand-breaded and cooked to perfection.

I get the shrimp fried rice but i upgrade the shrimp because the pink shrimp that comes with it taste like dirt fish towel water and I add extra egg 2xs I promise you'll love it if you get it this way, their tartar sauce is good too, I think it's homemade

Road by this place a hundred times. Going to lunch on the busy Walton Way is somewhat boring, lots of chains. This place is a great spot for lunch! Lots of choices including Chinese. Fresh fish, chicken and sides. Generous portions and reasonable prices. On my favorite list for sure . I give this place a strong recommendation. View menu

Was here years and never here, this is the only place where I can find shrimps with my head. I want to cook my own seafood like the local restaurants, but don't like paying the high price for 10 shrimps and some potatoes. I have a 4lbs box for $40. $9.99lbs / per pound) this was a big buy bc you pay $18 a lbs in the restaurant. I could cook 4 seafood and had at least 15/20 shrimp each time and they are not the little ones! Will definitely recommend. I have to go back to try out their other selections.

Ok, let me say that upon walking in you honestly probably wouldn't expect much. BUT, in my opinion, freshly fried seafood that is affordable and that you can see first hand what species of fish you are buying is an incredible thing, I only saw when I live the DC/VA/MD area. The fried fish I had was so delicious to me in that it was seasoned just right and fried without greasiness or making my food dry due to being in the oil for too long. Please give this place a shot! This will now be one of my regular places almost once a month when it comes to seafood!

"Hands down the best food I've had in Augusta. In Augusta for work, and have been trying out various restaurants with the work crew. This place I is the first that had me saying I'm coming back. EVERYTHING was good! Seating is limited and there was a short (10min) then from there it's either buffet style or takeout option. We dined in, which gave me a chance to sample EVERYTHING. I started with the salmon in lemon sauce. Not overcooked and just delicious. This was my favorite. Seconds were had. Next up was the fried pork loin. Probably my least favorite protein but still good. I'm not much of a pork person and still enjoyed. Then the barbeque chicken. This..was..good. seasoned to the bone. For sides, there was some corn and lima beans and plain rice. After this, we had the beef gumbo. The gumbo truth be told was more a soup. For me gumbo needs to be a little thicker...heartier. Whatever you want to call it delicious. The beef was seasoned well, tender and the broth flavoured with okras. There was also a salad bar, and I just had a fresh salad. Typical salad toppings with some.black olives and jalapenos to spice it up a little. Not sure about the dressing, I did without. Then everything was topped off with the peach cobbler. I enjoyed this as well, probably because it was not overly sweet. But I know people are passionate about their cobbler, so opinions will very. All in all, I'm definitely going back and look forward to different daily dishes. We were told when leaving tomorrow (Friday) is fried chicken day."
