"I had higher expectations for this restaurant than what I ultimately experienced. We visited on a night that wasn’t particularly busy, and while I must say the service was outstanding, the food unfortunately did not meet the same standard. The sushi rice lacked flavor and was tightly packed, resulting in a very gummy texture. The takoyaki appeared to have been frozen and then simply dropped into the fryer, resulting in a hollow interior filled with a sticky mess, enclosed in a hard shell. The onion soup was bland and tasted like lukewarm bathwater. The shumai was just a reheated frozen item. The salmon was rather disappointing—thin, overcooked, and dry, smothered in an excessive amount of sauce. The vegetable tempura was the only highlight of the meal and the only dish I would recommend. We didn't try the hibachi, so I can't speak to its quality, but given our experience, we won't be returning."
