"Service on my last trip deserves even less stars but the food brings the average back up. Servers seem to congregate in the kitchen area hanging out, waited 8 minutes to be greeted and get a drink order, we went ahead and placed our food order also, food came pretty quick, server never checked on us, had to wave him down to get refills, we watched him hang out in the kitchen while we waited for our check until I got tired of waiting and went to the front to pay without a check, I guess he noticed at that point and brought me the check at the computer. Watched several others with more attentive servers come and go while we waited. The food will keep me coming back, but I really hope management can do something about training wait staff."

Delicious food as usual! Country fried steak, fried chicken and chicken tenders cooked to perfection! Green beans were flavorful, cream corn is SOOOOOOO good! Biscuits fluffy and flavorful. Even the salad is delicious! Get here early as it gets packed! We had a group of 18 and our server was phenomenal!

We've always loved Babe's in Sanger, and the chicken tenders and chicken fried steak never disappoint. However, out most recent takeout was disappointing. The green beans were scorched to the point of being inedible, and the biscuits tasted old. We paid over $100 for 5 people, so this was an expensive disappointment. View menu

Food served Family style with Choice of Fried Chicken, Smoked Chicken, Chicken Tenders, or Chicken Fried Steak. Sides are served family style with no choices. You start with a house salad with oil and vinegar dressing and hot biscuits. With meal comes Green beans, corn, mashed potatoes and gravy. They have dipping sauces like BBQ and honey mustard. The food is consistently good and while it is busy come early for a shorter wait They also have staff that sings and they do the Hokey Pokey every evening and lots of children join in on the fun.

My smoked chicken breast was not cooked done, it was tough and needed about five more minutes in the oven. The tables are so close together that you can hear all conversations next to us. It just feels too dark, too dirty, too many people in one location and chicken, not cooked appropriately. Everything is out of the box too fyi the potatoes the beans, all instant or processed, you are eating nothing that’s healthy especially if you’re in the fried department. Just take a look around 99% of the people are overweight, lol and that tells you one thing fat is key to their success. Slip Sanger!!
