"Bar Solita is a lovely restaurant in downtown Richmond, VA. We had reservations for Thanksgiving and grateful they were open. Our waitstaff (the mighty) Quinn was exceptional and so friendly. Looking out for us, but not intrusive during our meal. He even took time to take our photo in front of the beautiful mural in the restaurant. The cocktails were spot on and very enjoyable. We opted for the small plates over the traditional Thanksgiving fare that was also offered. The food"

The service was excellent, and the cocktails were not just the same old drinks with different titles.

I did not like the chicken wings it has no taste. Worst tasting wings Ive ever had. Just trying to be honest. They need to do something different with the chicken. It wasnt worth the price at all

Great find. We happened to be there for happy hour and the food and service were terrific. There was a lot of action at the bar and fewer patrons at tables. Nice place top go for Mediterranean food View menu

I went here on a date night with my husband for happy hour. They have a lot of choices on the menu so we got some of the apps/tapas. They were pretty good. The atmosphere is nice and the staff was sweet.

I loveeeee Bar Solita! It?s a fun atmosphere, delicious brunch and great happy hour. I love the pizza bites and gimlets. For brunch, the chicken biscuit is amazing and ? of course ? the giant cinnamon roll. Any time people let me pick the place, I pick Bar Solita.

It's a fun, beautiful restaurant, but the noise was far too loud when we arrived at 1:00 p.m. for brunch. The service was outstanding but the food was just bad. We had also tried Bar Solita for dinner, same results with the food. We decided to give it another shot because it's in a walking distance from our house, but we would not go back. View menu

Just had our small civil ceremony wedding early dinner here and Grayson was our server. They were amazing and so detail-oriented with the food, seating area, and menus. So appreciative of the staff here and their willingness to work with any questions and special requests. Grayson also was extremely responsive and helpful with our party. Thank you Bar Solita staff! Another shoutout to Morgan and Abbey too for all the help!

I have mixed feelings. I was expecting more. The dining was fine, just a bit loud at times. Inside was nice and sunny with some plants scattered around. The cocktails I ordered were nothing to write about. The food was fine but I was hoping it was going to be so much better than it was. I think the only thing I'd go back for would be the chicken and waffles, that was the best thing I had there. Definitely a winner. It's still worth a visit if you've never been.

"I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I have to say I was very disappointed in my dining experience at Adarra. It’s difficult to get a reservation there, so once I was able to, I had extremely high expectations. The drinks were excellent, so no complaints there. The food, however, was not. We ordered the toasted almonds, peppers, cheese plate, tuna belly, anchovy dish, tomato salad, and gnocchi. The almonds and peppers were good, although I have to say they were on the simpler side. The tuna belly made me think I was eating quality tuna from a can soaked in olive oil. That’s the best way I can describe it. It was a bit tough and on the dry side, and I didn’t finish it. I don’t usually eat anchovies since I’m not a fan of the typical fishy taste, but was assured that their version wasn’t fishy at all the way they prepare it. I ate a piece or two but couldn’t finish it. Soaking the anchovies in olive oil did not hide the fishy taste. Some people may like that fishy taste, but I definitely didn’t. The cheese plate was okay. The crackers weren’t anything special, and the amount of cheese was pretty minuscule. The tomato salad was actually the only thing I ordered that was delicious, and the only thing we actually finished. After being at the restaurant for almost two hours, the gnocchi had still not come out. We told our waitress we didn’t want it and decided to leave. I heard so many great things about Adarra and had such high hopes. But after such a disappointing meal that we paid over $200 for, we will not be returning."
