"Went here because they're open till 1:30am but by 1:10 they're demanding all customers leave on the speaker system in an over and over and over repeating message cleary meant to annoy and drive customers out! If all employees need to leave at 1:30 on the dot then set the closing time publicly to 1pm and then the staff doesn't need to bully customers to leave! So annoyed with this Barney's Beanery. I don't blame the entire chain just this particular location that is bending the rules and mistreating their customers."

Service was a slow considering they weren't very busy. Fish and chips were horribly over cooked/burnt actually, their charging $18. for those, seems like the quality of the fish would be better. House salad

Visited Barney’s Beanery on a Thursday night. My wife and I sat in the Bar area. We ordered a $25 pitcher of beer. We pleasantly surprised to see Live Karaoke and a MC running the evening. Had a great time and enjoyed the entertainment.

Rude waitress. The bill came to $84.53 including 18% gratuity that was automatically added. We paid $100 .53c so the balance to be returned was $16. Not so. We got $15 back. Huh? So cash grab after gratuity? So we protested and she came back with $15.47 And she flipped out and threw the money on the table and walked away! Wow! Awful experience-never again! View menu

This is my favorite spot in Burbank. I always order the California mule and the fried pickles. This time I tried the chili and it was absolutely amazing. The portions were generous and there were plenty of toppings to choose from. Last weekend, my friend had her birthday party here and the staff were very accommodating. The music they played was top notch from the 2000s era.

I bring my father here for the atmosphere, as we enjoy sitting on the stadium benches and watching baseball. The food is incredibly delicious, to the point where I find myself ordering more than we can finish and end up taking the leftovers home in to-go boxes. The service is consistently excellent and prompt, and the staff is so friendly and cool that I sometimes come in just to have a beer and relax.

Everything was good until 1am. They start playing an annoying recording, that plays over like 100 times. Please finish your drinks, close your accounts and head to the door. Google business hours shows that they close at 2am. You just feel like they kick you out. They should give you a heads up like 20 minutes. Not at 1am when you just got a few drinks. It was annoying, not sure if I'll go back bc of this. View menu

Flawless implementation between bar and restaurant, Barney’s is awesome, in terms of atmosphere and style. Beware if you are heading down in the late evening, as they regularly close the kitchen earlier than advertised. Much, much earlier. We called and were told midnight kitchen closing, and showed up at 10:15, sat for ten minutes with no service, and when we inquired about getting a server, they informed us that the kitchen was closed at 10. We left frustrated and hungry.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this restaurant! The mini movie theater inside is a unique touch and the staff was super friendly. The food was delicious, especially the Philly cheesesteak that I ordered. Our server Gavin was fantastic - he was very personable and handled the busy crowd with ease. Despite the restaurant being packed, Gavin managed all his tables perfectly. I will definitely be coming back to this place next time I'm in Burbank and will be sure to request to sit in Gavin's section again!

"Easily my favorite bakery in LA!!! Being French, I feel like it's so hard to find good authentic French bakeries but Lou sets the bar soooooo high! No other bakeries have topped Lou's. The croissants are *chef's kiss*, they're flaky, buttery and taste delicious EVERY TIME! I also like their chocolate bread (pain au chocolat) and eclairs, though the eclairs are much sweeter so if you're into that, definitely give them a try! I really love how they are consistent with their pastries. There was never a time when I was disappointed. Now keep in mind they get very busy on the weekend, the wait can be long like 20 mins, especially if you order sandwiches (which by the way, are delicious too and worth it!!! I tried the chicken and turkey sandwiches and would highly recommend them). I think they run out of baguettes after 1pm or even sooner sometimes so if you want baguettes or sandwiches, definitely show up earlier. Even their drinks are so good, I always get their vanilla latte and once again, it tastes delicious e-ve-ry single time! Wanna know another thing I love about this place? The service! Every time we ordered sandwiches and the wait was long, they'd give us a heads up before finalizing our order in case we wanted to skip the sandwiches. One time, there was a mixup which resulted in us getting our sandwiches later than expected so to apologize for the wait, they offered us a croissant * * You will also often see Lou, the chef and owner, walk around and say hi to his customers. He may even sit with them and chat for a few minutes. He seems to know a lot of people in the neighborhood and that's actually how it is in France. Bakeries are in every corner and we love our bakers! Anyway I know this is now a super long review but I only have amazing things to say about this place, their food, the chef and the staff. I just wish they'd open every day"

"As an Italian, I can confidently say that nothing about this place felt authentically Italian to me, aside from a slideshow on the television and the appealing decor. A true Italian restaurant welcomes guests with warmth and hospitality. Initially, the busboy informed me that he needed to check with his manager about seating me. After some time, she approached me and seated me, and the busboy promptly ensured I had water. However, things went downhill very quickly from there. The service was atrocious, with the staff being either curt or outright rude. The only exception was the busboy in the mask, who was genuinely sweet and considerate. I have allergies to alcohol and vinegar, and when I asked several questions, the manager, who was also my waitress, confidently assured me that the artichokes were fresh and grilled. She insisted that I had nothing to worry about regarding my allergies. Sadly, this turned out to be a complete lie. The artichokes were definitely not fresh; they tasted canned or jarred, and the claim that they were grilled was simply untrue. The moment I took a bite, I could tell there was vinegar in it, causing an itchy and burning sensation on the roof of my mouth. When I got up to find the waitress and express my concerns, I was met with defensiveness. The worst part was when she admitted she couldn’t comment on the artichokes because she didn’t eat them herself, and she couldn’t get clear answers from the cooks, only that they were imported. I felt extremely uncomfortable with her dismissive attitude and lack of knowledge. Ultimately, she offered to remove the dish from my bill but insisted that these were special imported artichokes. To me, this felt like being gaslit. I continued to stress the seriousness of my allergies after just one bite of the dish. I asked her why she would serve me an artichoke if she wasn’t sure about its marinade and why my questions weren’t being answered by the kitchen staff. I was left feeling frustrated and more than tempted to leave, but out of respect for my main dish order, I decided to stay, expecting my meal to arrive soon. I ordered chicken piccata and specifically requested that no wine be used due to my severe alcohol allergy. The waitress informed me that the cook wanted me to know it wouldn’t taste the same, which was fine with me. I saw other patrons who came in after me receiving their steaks and pastas, while I sat waiting for nearly an hour. Eventually, I asked a male waiter for an update on my dish, only to be told that it needed to cook. As if I didn’t already know that. When my chicken piccata finally arrived, I was starving. I wanted to scream! I had mentioned my hunger when I arrived, yet it seemed like they either didn’t serve bread or didn’t care to offer any. I had to get up to ask for Parmesan cheese since no one bothered to offer it to me like they did for the other tables. No one ever checked on how my meal was going; I had to approach the counter to pay. As I looked around, I couldn’t believe how generously everyone else was treated, while I felt completely ignored. As I write this review, I’m dealing with a painful stomach ache, rehashing the experience in my mind. I can't understand why I wasn't asked if I needed an appetizer or dessert, or if my allergies were worsening. Nothing! To add insult to injury, my waitress apologized for the long wait after bringing my chicken, claiming it was due to accommodating a larger party. I honestly can’t believe I left a tip. I’ve never been so relieved to leave a restaurant. I will never return to this place, and I recommend that you don’t either. UPDATE THE NEXT DAY: I confirmed there was indeed alcohol and/or vinegar in my food. An hour after writing my review, I was doubled over the toilet all night. This quickly escalated into dehydration and a severe migraine. My throat and nose started closing up, and I nearly had to use my EpiPen. With allergies, reactions can be immediate or delayed, and mine come on slowly but then escalate quickly. I am absolutely miserable today and had to call off work. I am changing my rating from two stars to one star."
