"This situation has changed a lot this summer, from name to property to decor, but one thing remains certain: the food is fantastic. Benji has done a nice job to describe the room; the colors and decor are vibrant and bright, and the room is clean, inviting more to dinate instead of taking. The food is delicious, and the menu has a variety of authentic Mexican dishes. If the waiter asks if you want to start with chips and guac, say yes. The chips are warm, perfectly salted and crispy and the guacamole is delightful. You will be an avocado mix (not sharp at all) and a decent hot salsa, so make sure you want Spicier salsa; they have it, but they don't get it first. Tacos were delicious and filling; I got Al Pastor and Carnitas, both wonderful. My guest got the chorizo Torta he loved. We didn't have room for dessert, but I'm looking forward to getting the flan and churros next time. If you have been to this place for Mexican food in the past, make sure to Benjis they get a phenomenal job done and you will not be disappointed. The staff is as friendly as ever. And if you weren't before, give it anyway! This is not a place to miss."

Benji's is a staple take out spot for our family and many others in the area. The food is always fresh and they are very accomodating to the requests I have to make to orders. We've had it all here: tacos, enchiladas, tortas, alambres, burritos, desserts. Everything is on point.

Have been here couple times and just realized I never reviewed. Just want to express how happy I am to have found Benji's. I would say hands down they're the best Mexican place, at least in the Morris area. So far I've tried the chicken and beef fajitas, which I highly recommend. Also I had their short rib and they made that well I enjoyed it alot. They also sell their salsas, I had to buy cuz it's that good! I try to come as often possible, and I can't wait to stop by again. Excellent. I had Steak-Fajitas who came with a dinner size field green salad with awesome cilantro dressing, and the meal was too big to finish for 16 dollars! My wife had the shrimps with garlic dish, perfectly prepared, and also enough to take something home. Chips and salsa are plentiful and fresh. Ultra friendly staff, clean, comfortable and authentic decorated, it was a pleasure to dine here ( enough space to feel safe) and it looked like the take-out business was also hopeful. Nothing nice here, but it won't disappoint. Happy to pay the bill! When did you say the last time?!

Benji’s catering was beyond professional! My company had a corporate event and Benji’s catered to my needs even though I gave them little notice. As a customer, this shows how above and beyond the restaurant will go for you… they went more than the extra mile. They wanted to work with me and help me out! Their customer service is top notch and more restaurants need Benji’s culture. They did not hesitate to do anything and offered way more than we asked. They set up a taco/quesadilla bar and the set up was very appealing.. food was so quick and my team did not have to wait in a line. The food was very fresh and delicious.. the best Mexican food in Essex county! Customer service is 10/10
