"Food was OK. The tamales and roasted corn were passable, but other items were pretty bland. The biggest issue is price. While the price isn 't too far off the mark compared to similar style restaurants, the amenities (or lack there of) just can 't get me there. There are no refills on drinks, you pay full price each time. The chips are free, but the salsa is .75 cents per person per bowl . You don 't even get to sit down and enjoy the company of friends because after receiving your menus, you have to get up and order your food at the bar/counter like you 're at a fast joint. It 's basically Torchys or Velvet Taco style service at twice the price. If friends wanted to meet up here for a quick bite before heading to a show, I wouldn 't refuse to go. But, I also wouldn 't suggest Berryhill if I was asked."

This is the worst that used to be the best...I don't know what happened but this is the grossest restaurant in the Heights.

This place seemed a little pricy for us. Was not a fan of the chicken tamales. There chili sauce was not what I was expecting. Did not like it.Food: 3/5

The Acoustics in this place is the worst I've ever experienced. We were in the private area with a speaker for our club and I could not hear one word he said.Food: 3/5

This restaurant is always a great choice for a meal. During our last visit, they were remodeling, which made the dining area a bit smaller, but the food remains excellent. Food rating: 5/5. View menu

Consistently great California-style Mexican cuisine. I visited for lunch for the first time in a few years, and the shrimp tacos were just as delicious as I remembered. I really enjoy the pickled carrots and the outdoor seating. Overall, I’d rate the food a solid 4 out of 5.

The service was extremely lacking. There was no one at the bar or the register, and no one was cleaning the tables—I ended up having to clean and bus my own. However, the woman taking orders and the man bringing out the food were friendly. The house margaritas are only $5, probably because they barely cost anything to make.

the first time you ever talk here. the containment at the bar was extremely helpful. I eat only other fish and beetles than that I consume no other meat. she took her time to run me through the menu. I went totally vegetarian, but fish sounded great! So I got the bosa fish burrito and the first mouthful was sweet joy. I'm always going. bon apetite! View menu

My take-out order, which is a very simple order of two tacos, was totally messed up. Instead of two tacos, I received three. instead of getting the original fish that I asked for I got the grilled fish. I waited so long in line to pick up my order, the person ahead of me had a voluminous order and chatted up the staff forever,, while i waited for my order that was ready behind the counter the whole time... the staff did refund half my purchase price for the inconvenience.

Food is usually decent, but there's definitely some bland stuff on the menu. I wish they still had the salsa bar with pickled carrots. The real issue is the owner packs the bar with his MAGA friends. Having a drunk boomer, who is ALWAYS there btw, shout Let's Go Brandon in the middle of dinner is lame. Another time the bartender was steadily serving an obviously intoxicated man hanging with friends at the bar while his 7 year old looking kid sat in a booth alone playing video games. Read the room and neighborhood for that matter.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
