"Went here because options are limited, and some how it had a 4 star rating...maybe 4 stars in comparison to what's around. Not how I rate my experiences. Nothing worth taking a picture of. Thought this was a Mexican restaurant, but had more options for breakfast than Mexican. So we opted to order the chicken fried steak and the fish chips. Tempted by the Carne asada fries, but looking around this place, I doubted they could serve up good enough fries to pull it off. Fries came with my fish chips, and I was right about the fries. They were luke warm limp. Not worth the calories. The fish was meh. Hot crispy, but the batter was still pretty raw on the inside. Steak was better...crispy and flavorful gravy, but still felt like it started out as a frozen patty green beans from a can. Margaritas tasted like sprite mixed with sweet sour mix served in a clear solo cup. $65 for 3 dinners cocktails, still feel like I paid too much. Restaurant looks like the menu, not sure what it wants to be...Mexican restaurant or a vacant retail space. Service was like the fries...luke warm. If your driving through...maybe go an extra hour and stop at Wendover. If Wells is your destination, then this is the spot, just set expectations low and maybe this can be your 4 star dining experience."
