"Give them 5 stars for effort but only 3 stars for the food quality. We went pre theater; they had just one waitress initially and then a second person joined her. They tried very hard, especially after we told them that we had a show at 8pm, but were really short staffed. We ordered tha tea leaf salad: mediocre, have had much better ones. Typically it is mixed st the table but here they just brought out a mixed portion that tasted just ok. Samosa soup: this was good Parents appetizer): was under cooked and the dipping sauce with it was totally watery. We could not eat it, that bad"

The pictures were nothing like the restaurant. The food was bad and believe I got sick later.

eating was uneven, but some of our dishes were great. service was okay – they are clearly too stretched.

The photos did not match the restaurant at all. The food was disappointing, and I believe I ended up feeling sick afterward. View menu

Authentic and delicious food. Felt like servent was new and wasn't really on point. Atmosphere is simple and very low key. Overall would definitely go back!

The food was just okay. The servers were very nice, and they food didn't take long to come. But for the price, the amount of food is so small. It would be acceptable if the taste was amazing, but it was just okay for me. I'd go again if I was in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to revisit.

This is a fantastic restaurant offering excellent value for your money. The walk salad and curries were outstanding. Despite the 5:30 pre-theater rush, the server ensured that everyone was served promptly to make it to their shows on time. I really appreciate the shared space concept for breakfast and lunch. It has a family-friendly atmosphere, and I highly recommend it! View menu

This is a pop up and I was excited to try it after reading reviews. If the food had been wonderful, I would have forgiven the well-meaning but very spotty and slow service. Unfortunately, the food was not wonderful. The overall bill was low, so that was a plus, but because the food was not great, it didn't feel like a value. I do feel that the staff were very earnest and want to do well.

Found this pop up last minute for dinner and it was very very good. Really good value, super friendly staff and excellent food. We had 2 curries, samosas, salt and pepper chicken and fried rice. All great. Got a bit busy as we we were leaving and it was a little slow to clear plates and get the check but it's a pop up and it went from quiet to full in about 15 minutes which is always tough. Needless to say the food came out really quick so all good, we were in and out in under an hour. I really hope this becomes a permanent fixture!

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
