"This restaurant in Chicago is top-notch when it comes to Cuban sandwich spots, excelling in service, efficiency, and taste. It used to be one of my favorite places before I became vegan/vegetarian. I enjoyed all their sandwiches and their amazing coffee choices. They offer both hot and ice-cold options, with the ability to customize the flavor. Even though they don't have vegan options, I would still return for their frozen fruit smoothies and creative juices. The menu may be simple, but the food is delicious."

I've had Marianaos since I was a kid, still as good as ever. I love their cafe con leche leche steak sandwich with egg and cheese. Yum!

Great spot for a quick bite. I had the Media Noche and Cafe con Leche w/ a beer empanada. The staff was awesome and I definitely can't wait to go back.

It was my first time here and I was satisfied. You got my order right and it was done on time. Also the prices on the food are very reasonable so they alone have one returning customer out of me. Also they also had some cuties working there. respectful? View menu

The food at this restaurant is really delicious! I also enjoy dining on the terrace. I come here frequently enough to give them five stars. The food is authentic and just excellent! My fiancé, who is from Florida and loves Cuban cuisine, approves as well.

I loved the ambiance of this place. It was my first time and the people here are so friendly and outraged that you'll want to come back for more to mention food is so absurdly good it's almost ridiculous. I will definitely come back and I ask everyone to check it out.

This is the only Cuban steak sandwich place you will need. I have been eating this family’s steak sandwiches since my teenage years. Simply the best. You have to try the something off the Dj EDLo’s secret menu sandwich, which is basically a double steak sandwich with 2 eggs over easy and extra mojo! You better be hungry. View menu

Coffee is very good when Mexican/Cuban ladies make it . I was there today at 10:25am, they don’t have idea what Cuban coffee is , charged me 5$ and I throw coffee away because cup was full , not sweet enough- they don’t know how to make it right . I told them one and half sugar (same as always) , they didn’t know what that means , told me “we don’t use spoons”… ?!Place is clean and nice but you guys must learn from Mexican/Cuban ladies how to make Cuban coffee . I can’t teach you how to make a coffee .

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
