"Bien Hen is my go to spot when I craved some seafood at night. The vibes were chill, cozy and the staff were super friendly. The seafood platter was fresh and delicious. I recommend razor clams with butter green onions, and garlic butter escargot. The crispy grilled catfish is a must try especially when eaten with sweet dipping fish sauce. Despite the being busy, staff members are always helpful reaching out to check in. Especially server Andy, he was kind, talkative and super helpful. If you're into seafood, you should definitely check this place out. Nice flavor but small portions we had a problem with our lobster it was a big size but nothing inside we explained to our waiter and he tried to tell us that we had to may half price for it at the end we didn't pay for the lobster because we didn't have anything to eat of it it was just bread. Be sure to make reservations in advance or be ready for a bit of a wait. We waited nearly 30 minutes to be seated, but it was definitely worth it! Everything was amazing, especially the seafood hot pot. My kids will always remind me how I devoured the entire razor clam dish while they were distracted, haha! The service was a bit hectic but totally understandable given how busy it was. I highly recommend this place and would certainly return!

The food was exquisite, earning a perfect five stars for its quality and flavor. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The atmosphere was delightful, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing dinner. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a wonderful meal.

The menu is really confusing, and the staff isn't very helpful! It seems like there's a wide variety of selections, but choosing anything from the menu is quite challenging. While we were dining, we noticed that almost everyone was ordering fried catfish. Although I enjoy fish, catfish isn't my favorite. Aside from fried catfish, the options are limited: the portions are small, the sauces are similar, and the staff lacks assistance. The restaurant doesn't provide much of an ambiance; it's crowded and not very clean. View menu

I had the seafood hot pot, chicken wings, peppercorn and garlic butter escargot, squid, and more. The hot pot soup was slightly sweet, which I didn't mind; it was unique and I appreciated the variety of seafood available. The sauces added an extra kick, and there was a lot of flavor in the dishes. Personally, I found the escargot a bit slimy while chewing, but it was a good first experience for me, and I enjoyed the seasoning. The chicken provided a nice contrast to all the seafood. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

Never come back here again. First, the chair is dirty with trashes on it, asked them to clean but they just took us to the table and left. The customer service is really bad and attitude, asked for extra sauce but the waiters just ignored. Waiters cleaned the table even if we still have foods on dish. When the bill came out, we checked and there was one item not come out but it was still on the bill. The food is just ok, not as good as people reviewed. "So I suppose it's up to the manager of a restaurant whether to replace a returned entree at no extra charge the customer for the uneaten food. Whatever the policy at Sakana (we didn't ask when we saw the item in question added to our bill, we didn't feel like getting into an argument), we still found the attitude of the server when my girlfriend didn't enjoy her spicy miso ramen to be unacceptable. Instead of simply offering a replacement when my girlfriend explained that she couldn't taste any miso in the broth, the lady server told us that the miso ramen tasted as intended and that adding more paste to the broth would make it too salty. It still didn't taste very good, but whatever. Fine. My gf orders the curry ramen instead. It's pretty decent, nothing to write home about. At the end of the meal, we get charged full price for the spicy miso even tho all she ate of it was the egg added at additional cost. Did not mention this before the bill came out. We probably would've moved on without complaint if we hadn't been talked down to when trying to replace the order or had the return policy more clearly explained to us. Will not be coming back due to this experience. I've been to better and more expensive restaurants that return and replace an entree, no questions asked, especially when -you didn't eat it-. I've had $50 steaks taken back without being charged, but you're gonna die on the hill of your watery $15 ramen? No thx. The food, for the most part, is okay. My tonkutsu ramen broth was acceptable, tho my pork was overcooked. My gf's replacement curry ramen was better than the spicy miso, but it was not great. It did have tasty fried chicken, but very few other ingredients besides noodles and spinach. She wasn't so into it. Where the cuisine shines is the sushi. The fish tastes like it's well sourced and is adequately competitive for the price range. We didn't love the ramen experience, but we were actually considering coming back just for the sushi before we saw that they'd charged us for the returned food. The shrimp shumai appetizer was tasty but a little skimpy on the portions, four tiny dumplings for $8 or $9. Ultimately, Sakana is worth going to if you just want sushi and don't mind a somewhat cramped and loud atmosphere during peak hours and a snooty attitude from the staff. I'd have added more stars if not for the service experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Nigiri"
