"This restaurant was around when I was a kid and I remember how great it was back then. Today was the first time I’ve been since my childhood and I was a bit disappointed . This fish was wonderful and the pie was delicious, but our waiter hardly came to our table. She finally came to refill our drinks when we was done eating and getting ready to leave. Definitely should have people sitting folks also because I literally stood out on the middle of the place waiting for the one bus guy to clean tables. And other folks were just jumping in places and I didn’t even know where to stand or if I just stood by a dirty table and wait for the guy to clean up."

"I went through the drive-thru around 3 PM on a Friday. The girl taking my order messed it up initially; she repeated back 'Loaded Cheesy Bacon Fries' instead of my request for a small cheeseburger without ketchup and a small fry, plus the strawberry-cream fried pie. After correcting her, she forgot to include the fried pie when she repeated my order again, so I had to point that out too. I was patient and polite throughout. When I got to the window, my bag was already there, and I paid without checking it, as I was traveling and typically don’t inspect fast food orders right away. I started with the fries, which were fine but far from outstanding. Then I searched for the cheeseburger in the bag. It felt a bit stiff, and when I tapped the wrapper, it sounded hollow. Upon unwrapping it and taking a bite, I found the bottom bun to be hard and dried out, while the burger and cheese were cold. The fried pie was acceptable, but given my experience, I wouldn’t say it's worth returning for. It's rare for Jack's to get an order right, but unfortunately, the overall quality just isn’t good enough."

"When their system is working, the food here is quite good, but the service leaves much to be desired most of the time. After reading reviews about the inside of the restaurant, I'm thankful that I’ve only used the drive-thru. I usually stop by 1-2 times a week during my commute because I really enjoy a sausage McMuffin! Unfortunately, I've noticed that lately, the system seems to go down frequently right after I place my order. I understand that technical issues happen, usually at the worst times, but this has become too common to just be a random glitch. Management should really look into their internet connection or system stability to reduce these drive-off incidents. However, I suspect there may be more of a human issue at play rather than just a technical one — though I could be mistaken. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1."
