"There were both positives and negatives at this restaurant that made it difficult for me to rate. Let's start with the positives (and arguably the most important part) - the pizza was amazing. It was so delicious that I even thought about licking the grease and parmesan from the box. The garlic oil on the crust and extra parmesan sprinkled on the slices were highlights for me. Despite these positives, there were some drawbacks that I must mention. When we arrived, we had to wait for someone to see us on the Ring doorbell camera in order to get service. Initially, they claimed to not have menus until they remembered they had some from their other location. Without a menu, it was hard to know what they offered. They had a $6 deal for two slices and a can of soda, but they only had limited options available, which made me question their inventory management. Additionally, the seating situation at the restaurant was awkward as the bar stools were too short for the counter, causing discomfort while eating. Overall, if it weren't for the delicious pizza, I would have given this place a two-star rating. I would recommend stopping by for the food, but not for a comfortable dining experience."

Everything there is pretty baked, from the employees to the pizza. Good pizza. Rad owner. Wish they’d change their hours so people working during the day can go there for lunch. View menu

I was not happy at all. The bill was $48+. 2 pies and a cannoli. Got home and they gave me a dry cookie. I called and they said they didn't have any cannolis. But they didn't tell me. Pizza was not what I was expecting.

Taste is great. Would've gave 5 stars but the texture of crust seemed to not hold together well. Other than different sort of crust for pizza by the slice...pretty good. Id order again but maybe not the pizza by slice. Very friendly customer service.

2nd time getting slices. First time they were very good. This time it seemed like i got yesterdays slices. My jowls were sore after chewing it. Felt like someone punched in the face after i got done chewing. Not gonna go back for slices. Pie was decent tho. Not very courteous when ya come in. View menu

I placed my order online. One of the pizzas I ordered was gluten free, but unfortunately they were out of gluten free crust. They quickly sent me a text to inform me of the issue, apologized, and even offered me a $5 credit for my next order. Their customer service was excellent. The price was very reasonable - only $15 for a large 18-inch specialty pizza! The taste was amazing and reminded me of the delicious pizzas I used to have in Chicago. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This pizza joint in Toledo might just offer the closest thing to a New York slice, especially the famous dollar slice. Big Slice nails the crust and size perfectly, and the best part is the price - it's incredibly affordable. They use quality toppings and everything seems homemade. While it may not be the best pizza overall compared to Stubborn Brother's, it captures the essence of a NYC slice and hits the spot for those craving that kind of pizza. The atmosphere and overall retail experience leave something to be desired, with a lack of decor and a slightly sketchy vibe. However, the pizza that comes in the nondescript white cardboard box is truly excellent, especially for Toledo. Just be c...

"Date night Saturday night. Our reservation was for 7pm, but we were falling asleep, so luckily they were able to accommodate at 6:15. : Only a few tables were occupied. Tall ceilings, nice ambiance, would have maybe liked some additional lighting such as candle light (or faux candle light . The weather outside was lovely and they opened the doors which gave way to French doors with iron railing. they were pretty! Our server mentions that the menu changes pretty frequently so we may not see on the menu what we read online. Fine by me, as you know from my reviews, I 'm always up for a food adventure. I had a gin based cocktail which tasted balanced. Spring Mushroom Mousseline, Pistachio and Drunken Fruit with Date Pecan bread. Mousseline served in a glass votive like ramekin (much like you 'd see foie , was tasty, creamy, albeit a little gritty from the pistachios. The bread came like a small loaf, almost precut (could have been sliced all the way through , with macerated cherry/cranberry compote. For a vegetarian option like foie, we were pleased and ate the entire portion. Scotch Olives with Saffron Aioli. These olives were HOT. No joke. A bit of, could you please blow on this before I burn my tongue? But, they were briny on the inside, with a perfectly coated fried crunch outside, and so yum once the heat dissipated. Nice touch on the aioli. Only 4 of them unfortunately... that 's 2.25 each! Rosemary Grilled Lamb Chops with Seedy Broccolini Salad with Cherries. Wood grilled carrots and pomegranate molasses. $39. Nice presentation. Crunchy but soft carrots, broccolini cooked perfectly. Seemed a bit on the small side as far as meat goes. Two double lollipops. Cooked perfect, and beautiful gamey taste, just not too much bang for the buck. Grilled Sturgeon, warm rice salad, fiddlehead ferns, snap peas. Not a fan of the glaze ontop, the fish portion was fine, but lackluster. I 'm a huge sucker for fiddlehead ferns, and I also know that they can be overcooked within seconds, which these were just slightly overcooked, lacked the snap in your teeth you get from a bright green cooked correctly one. Oh well. With everything in one bite, it was good, just not amazing. We shared the Mexican hot chocolate warm brownie/cake in a cup. The foam was nice, but the inside really reminded me of a fudgy cake you can buy in the grocery store, add water, and nuke in the microwave. Next time, happy to go back just for drinks and apps. Skip the more expensive main courses on their menu."
