"Not Your Ordinary Diner is their self proclaimed tagline, but it couldn’t be more true. This is the first time I’ve ever been to a diner but can’t wait to go back. I gave the resturant 5 stars, but that’s with the understanding that it is after all a diner, I’m reviewing pancakes and french toast here. The resturant does have all sorts of awards for best breakfast/best diner up on the wall, they had so many that some were pushed behind coffe cups. The dinner itself is pretty small. There are eight 2-person tables, and six 4-person booths in the main room, and a diner counter with about 8 seats along the back. There’s a second room around the corner, which I didn’t really see but with I wouldn’t expect much more. When we entered the diner it was standing room only at the front waiting for a table. I think if the fire marshall came by he might have a problem with the way things were as it was almost impossible to get from the pay counter to the door. I would recomend two things – only bring one person with you as 2-seater tables turned over much quicker, and second, bring a magazine to read while you wait. Service was actualy very fast and I think the two of us waited about 15 minutes for our table. The menu offers some innovative items, it was very hard to choose what to eat as so much looked good. breakfast is served all day, making the choice more difficult. This place is vegetarian friendly."

A really classic place for American food. The food was good but could be a little more delicate. The baklava was good but too sweet and was soggy between the layers. Could tell people were busy. A little bit chaos but they were doing the best to serve every table.

We went here for the first time this morning and we 'll definitely be back! My sister got the "vegan "esque omelette, which I tried and loved... definitely not something I 'd usually order but will in the future! My other sister and I both got the Eggs Benedict and shared the Gia French Toast...so good!!! Everything was delicious! Food came out in a timely manner and service was great!

absolutely phenomenal experience at Billy’s diner. my friend and I drove half an hour to try them out and were not disappointed in definitiw. I have the “Florentine” special and it was to die. we also have to share the “Cannoli Tower”; simply decadent and one has to try if they are looking for something sweet. everything was delicious, service was great, we sat outside and dined on a beautiful day. we will not be sure, next time we are in the city! I went to Billy Downtown Diner for breakfast today and the food was AMAZING! The service was all so incredible, everyone was so nice and polite with everything. I order the Snazzy Pancakes and the were awesome. It was banana with a chocolate chip pancake rapped around it and topped with whipped cream, strawberries, and chocolate chips. There was also powder sugar and chocolate sauce on top. As a drink I order simple black coffee, it was spectacular. I really suggest this diner for breakfast, lunch, or bruch!

Billy’s is fantastic for a quick, inexpensive brunch. They have an awesome menu both lunch and breakfast. The servers are very polite and are great at getting your food out quick despite it being consistently busy. The only draw back is their lackluster drink menu with very few coffee options that certainly aren’t the best. Something that I feel is essential to a good breakfast place. The food presentation is top notch however, and the place is always clean. 4/5 would be a 5/5 if they had a better coffee menu.
