"We were highly disappointed by the absence of Hibachi at this restaurant. It was one of the main reasons we chose to dine here. However, the clear soup was absolutely delicious. The service was satisfactory, although not outstanding. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant. The recommended dishes are Gyoza, Steak Hibachi, and Shrimp Tempura. The average price per person for dinner is between $30 to $50."

"This is the fourth time I 've dined at the EPC, the last two times I said I wasn 't coming back. But there 's so much hype around the restaurant, I keep trying it. Today was definitely the last straw. It was a 6 person party, including a 4 year old and 1 year old. It wasn 't busy in the slightest, kind of surprisingly quiet. We all ordered the lunch specials (typically those are the shortest kitchen prep time) and one kids meals. From ordering to receiving our food took over an hour. It felt like we were in a social experiment, seeing how long we 'd stay there. We asked at about the 45 min point and the waitress said there was something wrong with the printers and they had to hand write stuff. No I 'm sorry it 's taking so long , no we are having issues, so it will take awhile to prep your food , and certainly nothing comped or a free app while we were waiting (just the std bread). Thank goodness the kiddos showed so much patience. The food is 6.5/10. I recommend The Palace all day over the Pasta Co. (or the Early Bird for lunch)"

"I really appreciate the nostalgic ambiance of the decor, which feels like stepping into a bar from the 1990s, complete with heavy wood accents, a dark theme, and plenty of memorabilia adorning the walls. The cozy booths are ideal for enjoying a few beers or a quick lunch, and when the weather is nice, I love relaxing on the inviting back patio with its pleasant tables. The food is surprisingly good for a bar; the salads are always generous and filled with fresh ingredients, and the burgers are quite tasty. While the appetizers mostly consist of classic fried bar snacks, they definitely satisfy. Whether you're stopping by for a bite or just a drink, it’s a great place to be. The service is decent—not overly friendly, but perfectly adequate. For vegetarians, there are several options available, including a garden burger that can be added to any of their gourmet burgers. As for parking, being in downtown Ellensburg can be a bit of a challenge during busy times, so you might have to stroll a few easy blocks to find a spot."

"Ate dinner with some friends there tonight. Service was good with one fairly major exception of not disclosing menu changes. Drinks were good the food was ok. I ordered the blackened ahi tuna crisps roasted beet salad. The ahi starter was delicious, but there are only 3 crisps so don 't plan on it covering an appitizer for 4 people which is a little off but oh well... The roasted beet salad was NOT what it said it was. They served canned beets on the salad totally ignored the fact that they aren 't serving what is on noted on the menu . Would have been nice to be told they had no roasted beets (since it 's literally included in the TITLE of the salad) at the time would be substituting with a canned product, so I could decide if I still wanted to order it or offer it at a discounted rate since it 's being served cold straight from the can or jar it was bought in not heated at all in any way shape or fashion to even attempt to make it roasted as advertised. I ate it anyway didn 't send it back because I thought maybe I read something wrong was too busy focusing on enjoying what little time I had left with my friend before she moved out of state to worry about wording on a menu. But once I got home, I decided to see if I mis-read the menu I sure didn 't. Disappointing, if you don 't have all the ingredients have to sub them to make the dish then that 's fine, but the least you could do is let your patrons know prior to serving it to them. I could have made that salad at home with a can of beets paid a 3rd of the price. What 's worse is that I 've had a better beet salad at the local hospital here in Ellensburg, but I knew I was getting canned beets... My friends both ordered the artichoke chicken, I tried a bite it was pretty good. They did not skimp on the amount of artichoke they stuffed the chicken with as the chicken was totally smothered in the dip as well. My friends were very pleased with their dinners. Not sure any chicken dish is ever worth $29 a plate, but eating out is more expensive post covid I 'm still having sticker shock apparently..."
