"I had a fantastic Father's Day dinner at this restaurant. The bread tasted just like my grandmother's homemade bread from the 1980s. I prefer my food to be served piping hot and I was not disappointed. The taste from beginning to end was incredible. The employees were very friendly and hardworking, treating us as if they had just opened yesterday and were eager to make a good impression. The music playing during our meal was classic old school. As we made our way to the restroom, we could see a clean, organized, and efficiently run kitchen. The bathroom was well-maintained, with a changing table and a small but powerful hand dryer. It was refreshing to see such attention to detail and care for the customer experience. This was my first visit, but I will definitely be coming back regularly."

"We ordered a catering package for our dogs Birthday Party! Our guests were very impressed by the set up and professionalism during the delivery. The food was OUTSTANDING!!! The toppings on the pizza were plentiful! We also had Italian beef, Sausages, pasta salad and all the fixings to go with and not a detail was missed. They even brought treats for the dogs! Cherle was great! She was so kind, patient and helpful! We will definitely be using Chicago Dough in the future for all of our catering needs! Thank you so much to the whole crew at Chicago Dough!!"

"I've been here quite a few times in the decade I lived nearby. We don't have many restaurant options in walking distance, and most are not full service. So when I don't want to drive but don't want a hotdog or taco, I come here. Both the service and the food remain consistent. The food is cooked well but has limited seasoning which is great for someone with dietary restrictions, not for the foodie looking for flavor explosions. It reminds me of the old greasy spoons I would visit in Chicago in the early 90s which is nostalgic. I could look past the average dishes if the service was better. No matter what server I have had in 10 years, it's always the same terrible etiquette. Now, I worked as a server for over 2 years, 15 years ago during the recession, and I know what should and should not be done. These waitresses are not being trained properly and they must not have rules to follow. They don't flip their tables (bring the check after meals are nearly finished). They don't bus anything (take your plates). They don't get drinks on the table right away. After you sit for 15 minutes or more they get around to asking about drinks and walk away before you can give your food order. The only reason I keep coming back is the convenient location in a town with few options. Come here only if you have all the time in the world and you have patience."

"My girlfriends and I had lunch there yesterday (12-21-23). Our waitress Alejandro was amazing. She was so attentive and very helpful. The food was served quickly. We had a philly chicken sandwich, chicken wings, beef barley soup, and 3 types of burgers along with calamari. Everything was delicious. Three of my friends ordered carrot cake. It was a really large portion and just as good as our meal. We will be back. Thank you for a really good local restaurant with great service and down home cooking."
