"When I worked at a nearby school I would pass Blind Owl Brewery everyday and didn't think twice about it. Well, now that I have tried the brewery and no longer am out to 62nd Bindford often I regret those thoughts. We went a little before 6:30p on a weekday evening. The bar was busy and the outside patio had a decent crowd. The brewery is kid friendly. The patio is rather large with cornhole and other popular activities. Our server was friendly and checked on us often to make sure we were good. Blind Owl offers a nice variety of beer to choose from. I really enjoyed the Summer Season and had a second glass. But what really sold me on Blind Owl was the quesadilla with steak asada. I wasn't too excited about it, but that's what me and my friend agreed upon. I wasn't excited because I assumed it would be like any other quesadilla that was given no thought and just made through the motions. BOY WAS I WRONG. That quesadilla was stuffed and full of flavor including the steak . I appreciate that it had fresh jalapeños instead of canned. I don't know what kind of salsa they used but it was not that jar stuff you can easily find in the grocery isle. I'm still thinking about 24 hours later and was sad when my friend ate all of his half that we shared. In other words, don't share. Haha. My apologizes for sleeping on Blind Ow Brewery for so long, but I will definitely be back !"

I had a delicious thick, baked, juicy sirloin with fries. I’ll definitely be coming back! The service was outstanding, and they offer a wide selection of beers. The place is beautiful and very clean as well.

The pretzels were wonderfully soft, salty, and buttery. The filet mignon was juicy and substantial without being overwhelming; it wasn't one of those massive portions that take over the entire plate. The fries were a bit small, but they gave us a generous amount. Overall, it was a great experience!

After a hike in Harrison Park, we decided to stop by Blind Owl. I was impressed by their extensive beer menu. I ordered the Parliament Drive, a very light pilsner. I couldn't resist trying the soup, so I went with the chicken soup, which was delicious and surprisingly enjoyable on a warm afternoon. We also ordered fries and the chicken pliers, both of which were standard but not disappointing at all. Overall, it's a lovely place to relax and enjoy local beer. They have great outdoor seating and free parking available as well. View menu

This was a nice setting. Large indoor facility with a nice bar covered in televisions. There was a large outdoor area with huge umbrellas and a pass through to the bar. There were several of their beers on draft along with quite a few guest beers. I tried a few samples and landed on a blind owl Hazy. It was pretty tasty. For dinner I ordered the pretzels and the Cobb salad. The pretzels were hot out of the oven. They has two different mustard sauces. Both were delicious. The Cobb salad did not skimp on toppings. It was a nice meal.

Foods okay but it's whites only which sucks because indianapolis has people of color who eat food from time to time. It feels like a sun down town here. The black bartender lady is super nice friendly. The white guy bartender with the beer and glasses.......let's just say I wouldn't be surprised if he still owned a plantation to this day for sentimental purposes. I live across the street I'll never go back. I don't care who you are, how crazy your days been, how long your shifts been....treat people like people....that means Respect for the slow or dumb.

I was craving a beer, burger and fries and thought that Blind Owl Brewery might be a good option. Yep, it is. They have an extensive tap and several burger options with a great deal of variety on the menu. The interior is very sport bar so it has a fun and noisy vibe. We settled in and were immediately drawn to the large screen TVs with all varieties of sporting events being broadcast. I quickly became engrossed in the fact that there is a professional Tag League...who knew? The beer was cold and the Bison and Blue burger was served quickly with what seemed to be the largest single order of fries I have ever been served. The food was good and large enough of a serving to take home half for l... View menu

I am a big fan of brewery restaurants. I would rate this one in the middle of the pack as far as ones I have been to. Middle because the beers sampled were very good, but the food was average. We were also a little aggravated because we asked to sit outside, which was not crowed at all with lots of tables available in the shade, and they sat us right smack dab in a totally sunny spot. They said that was the next table in line, which I am sure had to do with server areas and rotation. But still, can’t stations be adjusted for patron comfort, especially when 5 or 6 tables remained totally shaded the entire meal while we all got sunburns at lunch. One reason for sunburn was how slow the service...

"My son was in from California so we wanted to take him to Tony’s. We have been before and think highly of the restaurant. Positives: Calamari, wedge, steaks and pasta were very good.Positives: My mother who is very picky loved her steak although she did send it back because it was not hot when it came to the table. She still raved about it even after that. That is really something.Negatives: Lobster tail was so over cooked it came out all curled up. It took me a minute to even figure it out. I sent it back. They asked if I wanted another one. I said “no”. I was getting full anyway so no reason to add another to the bill since they obviously do not know how to cook it. Suggestion if you don’t know how to cook it then take it off of the menuNegative: Preoccupied waiter. I would have gotten a glass of wine with dinner. Waiter never asked. I have been to Tony’s before and have had very attentive waiters. Not this time.Negative: Not Tony’s fault but a large table by us were drunk and very loud. Negative: I have no desire to come back. Their steaks are very good but if you can’t cook a lobster tail it puts Tony’s as a great steakhouse in Indy at the bottom of the list. Their credibility is gone to me. Suggestion: Bringing a nice piece of desert to the table on the house would have been a nice gesture and then I may have wanted to come back. They had a full house so a party of was probably not a priority"

"My husband and I went here for lunch. I was pregnant, had gestational diabetes, and a craving for sushi. We didn 't know what it was going in but the woman behind the counter was super sweet explaining it (deconstructed sushi) and patient as she explained our options. The bowls seemed a little expensive so my husband and I both got the medium size. He got rice and I had salad greens. There were tons of options to choose from and I want to go back now that I can eat the fish! I was able to have the spicy crab mix and all the fruit and veggie choices. They did have a cooked seafood option, but I didn 't feel like looking up if it was baby safe. The miso soup was good too! FILLING for the price. I would not have been able to finish if I got rice and my husband said he was stuffed; but we both finished! Next time we go, we 're planning to split the large one to keep ourselves from eating to much! Great food, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and clean restaurant. If we hadn 't walked from my husband 's working parking may have been an issue, but that 's the same for every place in that strip mall. Got food again. My husband and I split the large. We also got the mango sweet coconut rice to try. It was good, but not my thing. I recommend at least trying it once. I would eat it again vit not necessarily order it on my own. We also tried the honey wasabi on the side of our meal. It wasn 't what I was expecting. It was sweeter and creamier. Still enjoyed this place and love that he and I can split a large and be full!"
