"Expect a wait on Friday/Saturday (I’ve waited 25-30 minutes in line before during peak hours) Or just order on their website for pickup before you drive there. This bakery is THE place for pastries in Louisville. I would take a bullet for their chocolate croissant. Their quiche is the only quiche I’ve ever liked. I love their bread. I feel so aesthetic eating here, exactly like I walked into a French bakery. If I were independently wealthy I would eat here every day and not get tired of it. The people are always kind."

I absolutely love this restaurant! The baked goods consistently have a wonderful texture and flavor. They also serve the best coffee around. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the location is just perfect. It’s a true gem in Louisville!

best bakery in louisville. big brot and desserts. do not come too late or most brot and sandwich options are sold out. I came on Friday at 140 o'clock (mid ends at 2) and the options were very limited. still really enjoyed the items I could find. View menu

I only had a mocha, and didn’t try a delicious looking goodie, but the mocha was fantastic! Not too sweet, but the perfect balance of chocolate decadence and coffee frothed with milk. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was lovely.

great, interesting bakery and coffee place in louisville. baked is beautiful and very tasty. the prices are a little high to eat there too often, but the quality is very high. there was a little line to get in. the seats are usually open, some seats were open in the interior.

I absolutely love this charming little bakery. Everything I tried was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The aroma is delightful, the restrooms are clean and well-maintained, and they offer excellent teas and coffees at reasonable prices. Plus, it's wheelchair accessible! View menu

If you're looking for an exceptional boulangerie, look no further. Beautiful and delicate pastries for those seeking both savory and sweet. Incredible Baguettes. Plenty of convenient take and bake options for larger parties. The quality and charm of this place is not to be missed. Make sure to get there early. Friendly staff.

I love this bakery! You can really tell they're proud of their hard work. Everything we tried was perfect! From savory to sweet, we enjoyed everything from croissants to quiche, along with some great coffee for breakfast. There are a few tables and two benches outside, but at the moment, there's no indoor seating. It can get quite busy with people coming and going, so be sure to grab a spot quickly if you want to enjoy your meal while watching others savor their food!

"Now, let's talk about the food. The crab cake appetizer was the best we've ever had! It was mostly pure crab with just enough breadcrumbs on the outside to hold it together, featuring large chunks of crab. Delicious! We had heard repeatedly that Repeal has the best steaks in the city, so we felt we had to try them. Unfortunately, we didn't agree. My filet was overcooked and actually charred on one side, even though I requested it medium well (with a bit of pink). My husband’s steak was undercooked despite him ordering medium well, too. While we could have sent them back, we usually don’t unless something is inedible, so we were just disappointed. The steaks were still edible and good—just not great! The $20 twice-baked potato wasn’t worth the price, even with truffle slices and truffle oil included. The Caesar salad was also underwhelming. The white anchovies were an interesting addition, but they didn’t elevate the salad for us. The bread pudding, however, was fantastic! I highly recommend it. On the downside, the cocktails were below par. I know this may seem like a harsh critique of Repeal, but that’s not my intention! I think we set our expectations too high and were somewhat let down given the prices. With that said, would I go back? Yes! I would just choose very different items from the menu next time and likely opt for wine over cocktails."
