Bo Lings - Menu

We were passing by Kansas City and suddenly I was craving dim sum. We didn't expect to find a dim sum place at all and were delighted to find a good one. The dim sum dishes are very good; the waiter was very nice too.

Very disappointed had to return their roasted duck and bbq pork because they were tough and old, the steamed dim sum were ok , but the rest of the food were so bland. Anyway, don?t forget to check out their restroom when visiting.

Today was our first experience at Bo Lings. We went for an early dinner and both the food and dining experience were wonderful! Our favorite chinese restaurant! My mom and I love BoLings. Our favorite restaurant for dim sum, shrimp funn rolls, roast duck,barbecue pork bunns, chicken feet, and egg custards. Their black bean onion ginger steam oyster is out of sight! We get cravings for their cucumber salad, tofu salad and pickled cabbage salad so yummy for vegetarians!

We enjoyed two noodle dishes a lot but besides that the food lacked flavor. It was okay. Come out fast and hot though. It was our first time there and it would have been nice if how everything worked was explained to us. My husband ordered a beer it never came to us and I ordered a drink and it tasted like cough syrup. I let the waiter know it wasn't edible and he apologized and took it off our tab.

Great dim sum! The cucumber salad is a must! It was very refreshing and flavorful. The price was average. So not crazy expensive for a dish. They had other food menus too so lots of varieties to choose from. Not cart style which I prefer. As a matter of fact lots of places are turning to off the menu orders. (Not sure if it?s because the environment we?re in now a days) They were pretty fast bringing out the food items though. I?d definitely go back. View menu

I ordered carry out on Mother’s Day. I got veggie fried rice, chicken and beef fried rice, veggie spring roll, chicken chow fun, and Sui Mai. Our order was $72. My boyfriend went to pick up the order. He came home it was not the right order. Come to find out there was another Jack that had carry out also. My boyfriend said they said his phone number but gave him the wrong order. I called the restaurant to have them make our food fresh. The person on the phone said they would remake it. Been going to Bo Lings for over 2 decades now, still miss the original location in the Board of Trade Buidling, but it never disappoints. There aren't too many options for good dim sum in the city but this is at the top of the list. If you've never had dim sum, it's a Chinese style meal including classic dishes that are served on small plates and you choose a la carte style. Prior to the pandemic they would bring the food around on carts, but that has since changed and you order everything up front.
