The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The burger was juicy with delightful crispy edges, and the Reuben practically melted in my mouth.

Ordered takeout it was great. Turned out to be our lucky day Monday half price burgers. They were worth the full price. Can not wait to dine in. Staff was awesome. Glad to have this place on this side of Norman!!

This experience was great. Excellent waiting service with lots of engagement. 1950s-60s dining experience bosting a wide variety of hand crafted diner cuisine. Warn your waiter or waitress of any allergies in the for front as my fries tasted like cat fish,(cross fry), other than that great overall.

When I tried calling the phone to place a to go order, no one picked up the phone. When I went in I place my order and the food was ready with in 8 minutes! The vibe here is awesome, super good food for a cheap price. The pictures they have up are so funto stare at. I loved how every table had menus permanently on them. I?m definitely coming back here. This is a 1950's themed restaurant with rock and roll music playing in the background. I sat at the counter. Mondays are half priced burgers at the Boomerang Diner so I ordered the JJ burger with fries and a tea to drink. The burger was hot off thegrill and tasted delicious. The fries were warm and crisp. The tea was good. The staff did a great job serving the customerseven though they were short staffed. The three servers moved quickly and service was still good. Great job. Keep up the goodwork.

My sister in law ordered a big to-go order and a burger was forgotten along with the fries. I called and they remade it. However my complaint is I ordered the old fashion and the burger was burnt. They weren?t that busy on the inside but I saw therewas a lot of to-go orders. Being this was the 1st time I have ever eaten there I will try it again but make sure your staffdouble checks the to-go orders and doesn?t send out burnt food. Plus this is the remake of the one of the old fashions!! Where?sthe bun?

My sister-in-law placed a large to-go order, but a burger and fries were forgotten. I called, and they promptly remade the order. However, my main issue was that I ordered an Old Fashioned burger, and it arrived burnt. The restaurant wasn’t very busy inside, although there were many to-go orders. Since this was my first time dining there, I’m willing to give it another try, but they definitely need to ensure their staff double-checks to-go orders and avoids sending out burnt food. This was the remake of the original meal. View menu

This is a 1950s-themed restaurant featuring rock and roll music in the background. I chose to sit at the counter. On Mondays, the Boomerang Diner offers half-priced burgers, so I ordered the JJ burger along with fries and a tea to drink. The burger was freshly grilled and absolutely delicious. The fries were warm and crispy, and the tea was refreshing. Despite being short-staffed, the team did an excellent job serving customers. The three servers worked efficiently, and the service remained impressive. Overall, a great experience!

We typically go to Porter, but it was as crowded as usual, so we decided to try the location on Classen instead. I was with my husband and our two younger children. I ordered a double burger with fries, while my husband opted for pancakes and sausage with scrambled eggs and cheese. We waited for about 30 minutes after placing our order, and during that time, a gentleman sat down at the table next to us. Every waitress in the restaurant flocked to his table, chatting loudly, but our waitress? She just stood by our table, talking over us instead of attending to our needs.

"My husband and I decided to try this place out for date night. As we walked in, the ambience hit us both, it was great! Very clean and classy. We were quickly seated and shortly thereafter greeted by our server. They had an extensive list of alcoholic beverages and received complimentary water immediately after settling. We placed our order and started receiving our courses. 1st course appetizer of fried calamari (half regular/half spicy . The overall taste was great, but the calamari itself was rubbery like trying to chew on a bouncy ball. 2nd course bread/butter with our soup choices (loaded baked potato soup . This was very well our favorite course. The bread came out piping hot and the butter melted, well like butter (the soup was great for dipping! . The soup was super creamy and didn 't lack in flavor! 3rd course entree and sides. Husband had a dry aged porterhouse and I had their imported wagyu steak while we split their family style garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. This is the point that it got to be pretty disappointing. Let 's start with the dry aged porterhouse. I purposely use quotation marks as I 'm hesitant to believe this was actually the case. At over $100 for 24oz., I have never seen any type of liquid (what looked like blood forming on top. It was cooked fine, but lacked in flavor, depth, or any technique. Something I would expect at this price point. The wagyu steak was okay. It didn 't cut like butter as the server had said, but it was cooked well and tasted like filet. The garlic mashed potatoes were the highlight of this course creamy and delicious! The grilled asparagus was burnt to a crisp, like eating bits of charcoal. The manager did take this off our bill. 4th course vanilla cheesecake. Very creamy, would for sure order again. Overall, based on our $340 bill (not including tip , our experience was sub par and in line with expectations of a Black Angus at 3x the cost."
