The food was decent, earning a solid 3 out of 5. It was enjoyable, but nothing particularly remarkable that would make me eager to return specifically for the cuisine. On the bright side, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive and accommodating, definitely deserving a 5 out of 5 for their friendly demeanor and efficiency. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was quite disappointing, rated a mere 1 out of 5. The ambiance felt lacking, making for an uninspiring dining environment that didn't enhance the overall experience. In conclusion, while the service and reasonable prices were a plus, the lackluster atmosphere and average food may make it hard for me to recommend this place for an enjoyable dinner out."

The claws and rolls were excellent. I ordered the signature Boonies steak tips. While they had a good flavor, the steak tips were tough and fatty. My dogs loved them, though!

We usually take out but, tonight we dined in right by the fire and enjoyed the first 30 minutes by ourselves. The hostess/server was a sweetheart and very attentive. The food as usual was awesome. Missed seeing Steve but, I see him all over town anyway. I’ll be honest… the ONLY reason we come into town is for our mail and our occasional dinner at Boondocks! I quite enjoyed my meal at Boondocks. I ordered a classic poutine for an appetizer. The fries were fresh, the cheese was melty, and the gravy was thick (I would prefer a thinner gravy, but I think most people up here prefer the thick gravy). I ordered a crispy chicken house salad for the main meal. The chicken tenders were perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. I cut them up and enjoyed them in the salad.
