I randomly selected Border Taco and was impressed with its beautiful appearance both inside and outside. There were three different taco options to choose from, but ordering a-la-carte became confusing as the person assumed I wanted three taco meals. The taco bowls seemed freshly made, which was a nice touch. However, the refried beans resembled more of a bean pudding consistency. I questioned if that was authentic.

The service at this restaurant was terrible. Our waitress took our order but never checked on us again, and someone else delivered our food. It seemed like the entire staff was having a pizza party instead of attending to customers. The flauta plates were disappointing in portion size and did not justify the price. The flautas were only 2.5-3 inches each. Despite being a family restaurant, they did not have baby changing tables in the restrooms. For the prices they charge, they should improve both the quality of their food and customer service. In terms of kid-friendliness, this restaurant is not recommended due to the lack of baby changing stations.

I went to this restaurant for breakfast with some family members who live in town. The place was nice, but I regret not ordering something different. I got a simple bacon and egg burrito for breakfast. My wife's machaca looked good, and I noticed another table with a delicious-looking bowl of menudo. Unfortunately, my bacon had a strange smell, as if it was cooked on a grill with other ingredients or on a griddle that hadn't been cleaned in a while. It was odd when I asked the waitress if the 2-item burrito included egg, and she said yes but mentioned that the prices had gone up. I found it strange.
