"I generally only leave reviews for 5 star or 1 star establishments but felt compelled to expressmy group’s disappointment in our experience at Bramble House. We came for a day on Vashon for a friends birthday and I suggested we make reservations at Bramble as the reviews were strong and the menu looked refined and farm to table. Unfortunately the 5 of us shared the same sentiment on how average this place is for the price point. And although the young kids on the serving staff were nice when approached, they lacked the experience and knowledge of speaking to the menu or the wine list. We ordered 5 starters for the table and I got a sense right there that this was not going to be a memorable meal. There was nothing that we tried that made us excited for the entree. Unfortunately we stood correct and all had really disappointing entrees. We ordered a polenta and mushroom dish, the short rib, risotto and one other. They all seemed to be staples from Trader Joe’s. In a meal that costs $70/pp (tip and wine included) I expect more. I hopeThis was a fluke and a result of staffing reasons. If not then Bramble House, I think you can do better."

I had the most amazing experience at Bramble House. I had the Fettuccine Bolognese, beef pork sauce, pecorino, pickled chili and it was amazing. I'm not a wine expert but the amazing staff recommended a great earthy red to go with my entree. The service was impeccable and was the high point of my trip to Vashon. You HAVE TO VISIT HERE!

Amazing culinary experience here! Visit Vashon for a wedding and Bramble House came on several lists, so decided to see if we had a reservation. They had room to leave. Everything was delicious, we had a beautiful Pinot Gris, the Ravioli, mixed green salad, truffle garlic bread, Patatas Brad, fetters Bolognese and Risotto. We just couldn't try several dishes so everything went in. Portions are generous and service was excellent. Very recommended!

The back patio has plenty of heaters and they even provide cozy quilts for chilly nights! The food and service were spectacular, and we found a gem of a local wine as well. We had the patatas bravas, the gem salad, the soup (leeks and celeriac root,? , crispy curry cauliflower, and a lovely pasta, and very glad we made room for the sticky toffee pudding! We ate here last summer and were blown away. And not to sound like a snobby foodie from Seattle but I do eat at the highest end spots around Seattle and not just comparing Bramble House to other spots on Vashon. All courses were top notch it was honestly hard to say what our favorites were. Wine and service were amazing and our table outside was perfect for the weather and a family that tries to keep on the conservative side of eating indoors. I'll let the pictures do the talking, everything was as tasty or more than how the pictures look.

By far the best meal I have had in a long time! The Black Truffle Garlic focaccia was so good (note: I am not afraid of oil or butter). The Mixed Greens were simply wonderful. How can simple mixed greens taste so good? The Crisp Polenta with Mushroom Ragu was perfect and went so well with the Onion Crusted Short Rib with beans and kale. We also enjoyed a side of Grilled Broccolini and Roasted Mushrooms. And if that wasn't enough food we finished with the Spiced Panna Cotta and Coconut Tart.
