"We made reservations for 4:30pm and when we arrived the woman who came out and asked if we had a reservations and checked her book then went over to the window and turned the sign to open then told us to wait and she went upstairs for a while then brought us up and the stairs are steep and slippery so we would have stayed on first floor if we knew.Then we asked if there was a oaked chardonnay and cabernet and she said never had that question for a cabernet before. ?)Then brought our bread after we ate our salad. The steak wasn't done medium more like rare and I told the waitress and she says we go by temperature Da...)The fish was so spicy and salty...We were the only people in the place on a Friday night for the hour so thinking not the best pick"

"I'm really sad to see this place closed. I only visited once during a road trip, but it truly stood out as one of the friendliest pubs I've ever been to. Outside of the UK and Ireland, it's hard to find places that capture the same local pub atmosphere as this one. I hope the family opens another someday."

"I find myself craving a cheeseburger at least once a week, and I prefer it without fries—just the burger itself. It has been a challenge to find a place that truly offers a great burger, but I’ve finally discovered it here. I’ve ordered the same thing twice now and have been thoroughly impressed. The double cheeseburger you see in the photos is exactly what I received: plain and dry, topped with American and cheddar cheese. Each patty comes with two slices of cheese! Cooked to a perfect medium, it’s a juicy meal all on its own—no condiments necessary, and honestly, I wouldn’t want to cover up the delicious flavor. It’s simply delightful. The staff is friendly as well, and the option to order online or by phone adds great convenience. Consistency is definitely one of their strong points."

"So delicious. The Strawtella Waffle never disappoints. This is a small quarters breakfast restaurant that also does takeout. The house may look older but it is comfortably modern inside with bright trendy retro decor. Very friendly. A diner feel with well prepared food. There is lots of choices when it comes waffles and they pair them perfectly to the sides or theme of the dish. Choices range from sweet to savory and they have all of the classic breakfast sides cooked in house. Don’t worry you WONT get microwave bacon. The takeout keeps well in the car so it’s just as delicious at home as it is at the table. Seating is limited so expect a wait on peak weekend hours. There is a small town park next to the restaurant with tables and a gazebo so if it’s nice outside you can order it to go and eat right there. Menu prices are good and portions are plenty so it’s definitely worth the money. Five stars all around Parking: Parking in rear"

"I had Haddock French with spaghetti and a piece of garlic bread. My wife had a French dip. The Haddock was perfectly cooked and the lemon sauce was the best I have ever had. The beef on the sandwich was plentiful and tasty. The food arrived quickly. Servers were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back."
