"The restaurant is not the coziest spot, as much of the dining area is used for storage, making many of the smaller tables unusable. However, the food definitely lived up to expectations. The portion sizes were generous, allowing for leftovers to take home, and the flavors were outstanding. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. I ordered the Spicy Pad Ped, which was packed with chili, garlic, onions, peppers, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, long beans, and fresh basil. I also had the summer rolls. One downside was having to order rice separately, which was a bit disappointing."

"First time here with my hubs and MIL. We all ordered the special which was scallops and jumbo shrimp with butter white wine sauce. Ambiance Complimentary Bread: Garlic Bread with side Order marinara sauce Jumbo shrimp with scallops pasta with spinach and mushroom. My dish tasted watered down pasta. There was really no taste. I ate all the shrimp and scallops bc it was the only thing you could taste. The pasta had zero taste. Even after I added lemon and 3 Tbsp of Parmesan cheese. I could hardly taste anything. It looked like the scallops were not whole but sliced into 4 pieces. My husband ate all his dish. My MIL ate most of her food. My dish for some reason was missing the taste and very watered down. Although my dish did not have taste, I am hoping to give them another chance by coming back to try another pasta dish in future. I recommend this place."

"Calling all sushi lovers! If you love sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri and the like but don't want to drive all the way into town, then look no further! Located off of Moanalua road in aiea sushi spot is serving up some of the most tasty sushi in the area. This little mom and pop restaurant has roughly 8-10 tables and is the perfect little hole in the wall spot to take someone for a nice dinner without having to drive all the way in to town. Today I got to try two of their signature rolls: the red dragon, and Calvin's choice. Both rolls were huge ! Although most rolls are a one biter, these were so huge I really had a hard time just trying to get everything into one bite! I also got to try their sashimi deluxe, along with their salmon nigiri. Everything here is made to order, fresh and delicious! 10/10 I will definitely have to come back to try more stuff. Go check them out if you haven't already!!"

"Don 't bother. This place was excellent under the original owner. New owner brought the place and is just coasting off the coattails of the success of the previous owner, if the food is as good as he claims it is, he would give the restaurant a different name. New owner tries to claim people like us, look at all of our 5 star yelp and Google reviews . Meanwhile, you can buy good Google and yelp reviews, the business I work at has gotten emails asking if they would like to purchase reviews. So yes, buying reviews is possible and if you take time to read most of the stellar reviews that were created sometime after 2018 you notice most of them seem fake. It was around 2018 I think when the new owners brought this place, and added mexican food to the hawaiian food. I tried it a few times, just wasn 't very good, I remember the beans being bland. The final straw was when my husband and I both ordered steak quesadillas for takeout. They tasted like someone literally dropped an entire box of salt on them. My husband could not finish his. I ate half of mine, and had to throw the other half away, something I hated to do. The next day I was terribly sick from all the sodium I had ate."

"Ordered Sadie Special 27.00 meats burned like black, Korean style butterfish 28.00- outside no flavor inside fish 0- flavor, so happen red color sauce, way to sweet like corn syrup Korean seafood pancake 18.00 massive batter on both sides, very oily very little seafood inside which left half uneaten! Horicha tea should be served hot, came totally cold. Notified server, gave me puzzled look she blamed on last workers didn't plug outlet. I also told her about bad seafood pancake butterfish, she said she isn't the owner will notify. Next table their mandoo came uncooked they had to send back for crispness! There were only 2 tables with us Included, but 4 different takeout walk-in customer orders seem more important since my order came later than my husbands. Called owner he said he was the son of the owner they make food for local taste(sweet) not for Korean taste! Why then they pass off as Korean restaurant? Local people like good tasty food, not just sweet taste as per owner implied. No satisfaction from staff in the restaurant, Called to complain he said I was ranting when actually was complaining- next step, POST terrible review! Infact the owner stated staffing shortage new servers like we need to hear more excuses! See Joshua Wallin 6 month ago post, that's what Seafood or green onion pancake should look like, not mine! To bad I didn't take photo's as evidence!!!"
