Brawley Bbq - Menu

There's no flame. There's no smoke. There's no fire. So it's no barbeque. Just some pale meat off the flat iron, and you add sauce if you want it. And their mac salad is not Hawaiian either.

It's a shame that this restaurant is always up to you because it is actually a very decent place to have lunch. All the meats are chargrilled fresh to order and they offer substitutions of steamed vegetables and brown rice for those of us looking for a more balanced, health conscious meal.

The food was decent overall. The meat had great flavor, but the rice was a bit tough, likely from being dried out, and it seemed like we got whatever was left in the pot. Wow, what an amazing place in Brawley! I highly recommend it. They truly prioritize customer satisfaction. Not only is their food fantastic and delicious, but they also offer the best smoothies in town—there's no doubt about it! This place is a must-visit if you're in the area; you won't regret it. I had a banana smoothie along with a pork BBQ rice bowl, and it was absolutely delicious!

Under new Management and I have nothing but praise for this spot. Ordered the spam masubi, chicken bbq plate (which came with a free drink), and a thai tea with boba everything was great, portions were huge, and service was great. I'll definitely be making this a regular spot .. esp with so few food choices in Brawley (thats not drive thru fast food). They even have delivery thru Mr. Delivery!

I've been here a few times and was always treated well. The menu is priced right. The options are decent. If you are a meat and potatoes person or in this case meat and rice ,this is the spot for you. Hot crispy chicken katsu with a flavorful dipping sauce and steamed rice is one of my favorite things to eat. If I had to complain about one thing is I wish they had a thicker sauce But overall great place to eat. And for sure 10/10 as far as valley food goes. View menu

I went in around 3ish and the place was very calm with only one other customer there making the service pretty quick. I ordered the chicken combo to go and I was pretty surprised at the portions of the meal. I got a pretty hearty portion of chicken which is what mattered more than the sides. The two sides were an average amount. What I did like was the chicken It was pretty delicious in that it wasn't dry and it had flavor. I definitely want to go back and try a few other options from their menu. I'm really interested in their spam selection.

I recently visited Brawley BBQ for the first time, and my experience was just average. I arrived around 4 PM on a quiet Sunday, and the place was pretty empty. I ordered the chicken katsu plate and two spam musubi. It's worth noting that they currently don't offer any sauce for the chicken katsu. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of my meal overall. The chicken was quite dry, the macaroni salad was disappointing, and the white rice lacked flavor. On a positive note, the spam musubi was actually quite good, so I would rate that a solid 7/10. I'm not sure if I'll try another dish here, but at least I now know where to find a tasty musubi the next time I'm in the valley.

I picked up a large order to try various dishes from the menu, and I was not disappointed at all! Everything was absolutely delicious and not overly greasy. The only thing I would suggest is that the vegetable chow mein could use a bit more flavor. I added some chili garlic oil, sesame oil, and a dash of soy sauce, and it worked wonders! The chili garlic oil is so good that I could eat it on its own. We also ordered cream cheese wontons, salt and pepper fish, egg rolls, the chef's special chow mein, and Mongolian chicken and beef.
