"Beautifully restored building with an extensive offering of seasonally relevant interior decor items available to purchase. All of the furniture is for sale and they do special orders.. Great food and upscale dining. My wife had the prime rib and I enjoyed chicken marsala. Delicious on all counts. There are daily off menu specials that are awesome. Probably the closest thing to fine dining around without going to Topeka, KC metro or Omaha. Staff kind and courteous. You will get to visit with the owner and members of his family. Highly recommend reservations. They were empty when we arrived at the beginning of dinner service, but were completely full when we left an hour or so later. They appear to have a nice selection of wines and other adult beverages, too. The bombolina dessert is delicious and should be enjoyed."

Nice atmosphere and building, however service was very slow and took forever to get our meal. I ordered the chicken marsala, the chicken was very dry and the noodles and sauce were very bland with no flavor. Wife had the cowboy burger and she said it was good. Also the meal prices were very expensive. Will not be going back

This restaurant is a true treasure! We were really impressed by the decor, and the staff were both friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding as well. We had a large group, and every dish we tried—such as the prime rib, tenderloin, and burgers—was delicious. The portion sizes were generous, the salad bar was excellent, and the craft cocktails were delightful. Beautiful old building with unique architecture, great food, good service. Well worth the drive to this charming rural community. I had the Prime Rib, special of the day, and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. The roasted Brussels Sprouts and creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes complimented it well. One of our party had the Pulled Pork Mac Cheese, and it was big enough we could have all four shared it and been satisfied. We drove an hour and a half through sun dappled hills and pleasant valleys filled with cornfields to get there. It was worth every minute.

Been wanting to try this place for awhile. Called before leaving on our 90 mile trek, but phone kept ringing. Took a chance and left. Called again just before arrival and convinced a gentleman to allow us to squeeze in to a table 2 1/2 hours later. Ok, keep going, we’ll hang out and have a few drinks. Nope. Refused to serve us when we arrived because “no staff” (except the three ladies eating at the tables and talking on phones). The cute little lady from Arkansas had to deliver the news to us, with HER regrets. She was the ONLY positive part of the trip. Rude staff. Minimal overpriced fake furnishings.
