"Why oh why did I not come here until now?!Welcomed with literal love. I arrived, I ate, I was conquered. That’s after I thought they were closed and promptly pulled me in as I was walking away. (Push and pull on the door. It’s definitely open at 4pm.)I went there specifically for the gnocchi. I will return to enjoy that once again. But I am sure that I’ll also treat myself not only to what’s normally on their menu, but also their specials. My waitress was kind enough not to let me derail my intentions for going, by not detailing the specials. But I did over hear the explanation made to other patrons while I waited for my entree and I’m sure I’d have been hard pressed not to want to deviate.The service was a joy. I highly recommend getting a reservation. Because even though I’d arrived right at 4pm, it’s obvious that there are many regulars who make sure to book their spots well ahead of a walk in. So call or use their online service to reserve or know that you must reserve for another day to enjoy all this restaurant has to offer.While I waited for the homemade gnocchi and side order of meatballs. The waitress asked if I’d like butter or oil to dip into the bread. I hesitated and she offered me a bit of both. My goodness I felt spoiled! The EVOO with the shredded garlic, salt and maybe Parmesan? I dunno but it was delicious and the warm bread combined with a bit of butter and that oil… bliss.The main event? You’ll just have to go there to find out if it may meet your expectations. I’ve already said. I’ll return.Dessert! If you don’t save room for it. Then certainly consider selecting one to enjoy at home. I did and the reason I waited until today to write my review for my 5/6/23 meal was to consume my selection. Light, sweet enough, pistachios… Once again, I’m sure I’ll enjoy trying the others, one at a time.It’s a location that is inviting, to start quiet, then I was able to observe highly frequented by families and couples alike. Bring your own alcoholic libations if you wish, the food and ambiance are intoxicating enough to my mind.Buon appetito a tutti and thanks to all (Lesley C) who made my first time one to remember."

"Refreshing ice cream on a summers night. Line was extremely long but did move fast enough to continue waiting. First time here and I was happy to enjoy a hard scoop ice cream along with my children. Soft serve was good as well. Only negative is that this is CAsH ONLY!!!! There is an ATM there just in case. Location is simple. It’s situated on Brigantine Ave. had a few tables to sit and enjoy. Should invest in a a couple more considering the amount of people that come here. Menu has enough flavors for all the likings. Prices are reasonable. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Cleanliness was good from the outside area and inside appeared fine. Overall it was. Ice to have fresh ice cream like back home."

"We had a wonderful breakfast experience at the Pirates Den with Lori as our waitress. Mike provided excellent service, making sure our coffee and water were always topped up. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Our food arrived quickly and was fresh. We loved the meat omelette, which was generous in portion size. Herlyn thoroughly enjoyed her chipped beef, describing it as the best she's ever had. I also found my breakfast of boiled eggs, Canadian bacon, and perfectly cooked potatoes to be very tasty. I couldn't resist trying the pumpkin pancake, which was delicious but I personally prefer a lighter, fluffier pancake. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be returning to the Pirates Den."

"I would like to give a shout out to the people at Andre’s. The other day I ordered take out of 4 entrees. It came in a big cardboard box with 8 containers and bread. It was a heavy box and when I carried it to my car I dropped the box on the sidewalk while I was trying to get the car keys out of my pocket. Yes, not smart. Part of the contents was splattered all over the sidewalk. I went in to see if I could get some help with cleanup and needed to order again. They got me the second order in no time and I gave them my credit card again. i was told that was not necessary so no other charge. I insisted but they would not take it. How nice was this? One of the men even carried thIs one out for me! That was a generous move on their part and I truly appreciated it. Highly recommend this place for their customer service and their great food. Lida"

"This restaurant is a family-owned establishment, as we learned from the owner's sister, who was also our server. The menu was filled with a wide array of delicious options. It featured everything from pancakes and omelets to eggs Benedict, avocado toast, chipped beef, and corned beef hash—plenty to choose from! I decided on the Florentine omelet, which came with spinach, a choice of mild or spicy Italian sausage, home-fried potatoes, and toast. I also enjoyed a cup of coffee and a tall glass of orange juice. Everything was freshly made and absolutely delicious. I almost ordered the avocado toast with burrata cheese, which I discovered is a soft mozzarella ball. I couldn't help but notice my neighbor's dish, and it looked fantastic. The portions are generous, the coffee is served hot, and the prices are very reasonable. The food is fresh, and the staff takes great pride in their business. Oh, and they also showcase local art that you can purchase via Venmo!"
