"There are not many dishes in Manvel, but we have a real jewel of a place that serves a little of everything. The fried pickles are the best I've tried. The bacon wrapped shrimp is always perfect. You have good burgers and last night my wife had fried rice and is much better than what the Chinese food center served on the street. Friendly server, good service. Since it is a small place that arrives on Friday and Saturday night, it is sometimes a challenge. You really have a good colleague. The shrimp edible is a lye. You have a good lunch ticket. Chicken fried steak is good. I like eating there. You add things to the menu all the time. It is a place that will give you a nice part for a reasonable price. If you have a problem, tell them to fix it. After writing this review, I feel like I have to get a shrimp P.O.-boy!"

"We also tried the Boudreaux Cajun Sampler, which included red beans and rice (my son claimed it was the best he’s ever had), shrimp étouffée (my personal favorite!), and seafood gumbo (also good, but it came in third). This sampler was a wonderful way to sample a variety of dishes and share them with the whole family. My son also had the fried catfish, which was fresh and flavorful—can't go wrong with that! To finish off our meal, we ordered bread pudding and beignets... and then we ordered more beignets. Why? Because they were just that delicious! Live life without regrets and enjoy it to the fullest! Last but not least, the staff was friendly and attentive. Great service with a smile really enhances the dining experience!"

"I stopped by Manvel today and stumbled upon this restaurant, so I decided to grab lunch. It was very clean with nice furnishings. The ordering process was quick and easy, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We both ordered the Bacon Cheddar Barn Burger; one of us had fries and the other opted for onion rings. Our food was delivered to the table in a reasonable time, and everything was freshly cooked. The onion rings tasted homemade, and the fries appeared to be hand-cut. The burgers were cooked perfectly and were delicious. The only small thing I would suggest changing is that the bacon could be a bit crisper; I usually prefer my bacon softer when enjoying it on its own, but in a burger, it should have a bit more crunch. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend this place!"

"Swung through drive through on my way home from work. Ordered Steak Finger Basket. When I got home, was very disappointed to see I was given a chicken fried steak (not much meat with a lot of breading) with sweet potatoes and green beans. Wow! Service has gotten really bad at this location. Called the store and after explaining several times that I don’t live close enough to just hop in my car and pick up a new order, he agreed to reimburse which was nice. So much for a quick meal. Will have to cook sides that actually go with chicken fried steak gravy (i.e., mashed potatoes or French fries)."

"I had a great experience overall, but the customer service could use a little improvement. It was my first visit to Jack in the Box, so I needed a moment to familiarize myself with the menu and the ordering process, such as which meals come as combos. The young lady assisting me was quite fast but seemed to expect me to understand everything immediately. When I asked about the selection of sauces, she pointed out that the options were right there on the wall for her to read, which felt a bit dismissive. I don’t think she intended to be rude, but it's important to be both quick and knowledgeable in your job. Just remember to treat every customer as if it's their first time—after all, you never know."
