I absolutely loved it! I've been dining there since I was a kid in the late 80s, and the food and recipes are just as amazing as they were back then. Sylvia is fantastic!

This place is fantastic! The chicken is perfectly cooked, looks beautiful, and tastes incredible. I highly recommend giving it a try. The service was great, and everything is prepared right in front of you. Plus, nothing feels greasy at all!

The fried chicken I had was the best I've tasted in a long time. It's one of the few places open late at night, and it gets really crowded. Be prepared for a wait, as each batch of chicken takes about 9 minutes to prepare, but I assure you, it’s absolutely worth it!

The chicken was decent, but I’ve definitely had better fried chicken before. It wasn’t the worst, though. The service was good, and the portion of fries that came with the chicken was generous. The older woman who works here is incredibly kind, and you can really tell she puts her heart into the food. She prepares everything right in front of you. If you're in a hurry, this might not be the best spot, as it takes about 20 minutes for your order to be ready. You can call ahead to place an order. I got two chicken platters, which came with three pieces of chicken each and a generous portion of fries. The chicken here is definitely the best in the area, not counting the big chain restaurants. My only regret is that I didn't opt for the eight-piece instead of the platter; you get more chicken that way!

I wouldn't say it's the best fried chicken I've ever had, but it was quite tasty and satisfying. The place is a dive, but the service was good. A one man show; an impressive and efficient guy who was attentive and quick. We ordered the 8 piece with a large fry. The chicken is small and tender (I hate chicken on steroids) fried nicely and crispy, but still moist. The flavor was very mild and it could probably be spiced a tad more, but hey, it's worked for them so who am I? The fries were underwhelming. Frozen matchstick fries, but fried well and crispy. Everything was fried perfectly; not greasy or heavy at all. An overall good experience. We'll go back. You should try it!

The food at this restaurant is quite good and fresh, and the prices are very reasonable. However, the service can be slow, and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. One positive aspect is that I observed our food being prepared, so even though it took over half an hour for my wings to arrive, I felt confident knowing they were made fresh and they tasted delicious. This fried chicken has less breading than what you might find elsewhere, which not everyone may prefer, but I personally enjoyed that style.
