"Ahhh I really really wanted to like this place because they have the cheapest sushi that I've seen in Baltimore City, but the sushi was sadly so disappointing : I like almost all sushi, but this sushi was just not good. The Happy Hour is M F 5 7pm and there are a lot of options on the HH menu; rolls range from $3 to $6 at HH. The place was spacious, cute, clean. The servers were soooo nice too! I'm sad to give this place 2 stars. The problem? The rice. Judging by other pictures, I think the rice may not normally be like this and they just really messed up this batch. However, they should not have served that rice. The rice was definitely cooked with too much water. It was very sticky and mushy...I've never had sushi like that before. All of us had the messed up rice. Additionally, it's 8 orders per roll but mostly rice and very little fish. I was disappointed in more ways than one. I had the salmon avocado roll and spicy crispy salmon roll where was the crunchy and crispy part? Didn't taste it.... Boyfriend had the chicken gyoza; great price at HH for $3; tasted fine, not that good. The hot sake was cute; I've never had sake before so can't speak to it, but my friend who knows more about alcohol didn't like it. The food was a huge miss, but the place is cute and the service is nice. May give this place another chance at HH."

I absolutely adore this restaurant. Despite its cozy space, it is definitely worth a visit if you're in Federal Hill. The prices are reasonable and the food is of great quality.

The sushi at this restaurant is delicious and affordable, possibly the best price in the area. The wait time was minimal. The operating hours are a bit unusual, with the restaurant open from 11am to 2:30pm, closed, and then reopening at 5pm. I was disappointed when I walked by at 2:36pm, eager for sushi, only to find out they were closed until dinner time.

This sushi is all right. I wasn't entirely impressed. The dish wasn't the freshest and tasted like typical mediocre sushi place. Giving it a 4 stars bc in the price during HH is unbeatable!! Gotta come here during HH. I got salmon avocado, rainbow roll, and tuna avocado. The appetizer crab (or lobster? Rangoon were eh. Also got the gyoza which were eh. seems like the frozen gyoza they bought in bulk. isn't the best sushi in Baltimore, but will do they job and the price is right during HH View menu

I went to this restaurant with some friends for dinner on Friday, but they were still closed for dining in so we decided to get takeout. I ordered the bento box which included salmon teriyaki, shrimp tempura, and a shrimp tempura roll. The shrimp tempura roll was well-made and not overloaded with rice. The tempura was crispy and delicious even after being in a covered container for a while. The salmon teriyaki was average and heavily coated in sweet teriyaki sauce. They did a great job packaging everything for takeout, including all sauces in a bag to prevent spills. I am looking forward to when they open for dine-in service.

I checked out this place during happy hour and I have to say, the sushi rolls I ordered on the happy hour menu were just average like 3 stars, but gets an extra star for their good happy hour pricing. We ordered the Mango roll, crunchy roll, shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, and salmon avocado. The mango roll was by far the best. I did not like the spicy tuna roll because I was not a fan of the sauce I think they use, a korean chili paste sauce. The dining area is a good small size, comfortable, and cozy. Bottomline: Not the best place for the best sushi in town, but definitely far from the worst. Would recommend this place during happy hours for a safe bet for that sushi craving!

First time ordering from Brother's. We decided to do sushi tonight while watching The Tragedy of MacBeth at home. Not sure why...Scottish Sushi? At any rate, we really enjoyed our take out. My wife had a Bento Box with veggie teriyaki, Yaki Tori and a California roll. It was a lot of food. She was impressed. In fact she said maybe next time we share a Box. Hmmm, I think not. I had chicken teriyaki with fried rice. Tasty stuff. Glad I ordered my own. There was not veggie teriyaki on the menu though I bet they would do it if I asked. I might next time. I also noticed no Tofu listed. I would think this to be a good addition. Brothers Sushi is definitely a good stop. Look forward to adding it to... View menu

I love this sushi place in Federal Hill! They have a great selection and friendly staff. Their specialty rolls look delightful and I can never just one. But this time, my husband and I ordered the sushi and sashimi special. While we waited for our meals at the sushi bar, we watched in awe as the chefs created masterpieces. All the dishes looked stunning and my mouth was drooling. Our sushi arrived fairly quickly with 12 pieces of sashimi, a chef picked roll, and the spicy tuna roll. The fish was fresh and cut perfectly. Before we left, the sushi chefs were chatting with the regulars and making sure we enjoyed our meal. This place brings locals in and makes you feel at home. I can't wait to c...

We ordered delivery during the pandemic. The cucumber rolls were really good because the rice was nicely done not too mushy like many sushi places that say they know sushi. Soy sauce : I can't say how much I appreciate the fact that they have Kikkoman soy sauce. The other types have brown food coloring. Kikkoman is the real deal and rate Japanese restaurants have this. Even if they use the Kikkoman bottles, it may be brown colored flavored water instead of real fermented Soy sauce. Makes a difference for sure. Look at the ingredients. Please, Brother's sushi, don't change away from Kikkoman packets. I was a little disappointed with the tempura udon soup I ordered because it tasted like it ha...

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
