"We came for Sunday brunch and were super happy to see it wasn't overly packed or loud. That soon changed when a large party came in and our table was dropped in favor the large group. Service from that point was slow due being over booked and the place got loud. I had higher expectations for the internal decor but you don't and rest that stuff..The food was excellent and beer was super tasty. The breakfast beermosa was a combo of the Heiffe and orange juice. Other interesting beer was the spruce made with fresh clippings from Cincinnati Nature center.I will definitely go back to try more of the food and beverage options.Kid-friendliness: There were several children including newborns. "This was our 4th time at Embers! We chose this place because we have always had such a good experience there. We came with two dear friends of ours whom we had not seen in quite sometime. The ambiance was good giving us an opportunity to catch up. It would have been great had the table next to us not been so loud. The spring rolls and sushi , the salads and the desserts were amazing. The entrees were really disappointing. My husband had the pork chop and I had the filet. It seemed that neither of the meats had been properly seasoned so there was little to no flavor. My filet was quite chewy and dry to the point I left most of it on the plate. The presentation of the filet left much to be desired. However,the highlight of our dinner was our server Penelope. She was efficient, informative and attentive. She was an absolute delight! For $100+ per person, our expectations of the meal were not met. If we have an opportunity to come again, we'll stick to appetizers and salads and forgo the entree!"

"We really enjoy the food, service, and sangrias at Maggiano's. The stuffed mushrooms and variety platter of bruschetta are delicious, with the bacon fig bruschetta being our favorite. I thoroughly enjoyed my risotto, and my husband devoured his salmon Oscar. For dessert, we had butter cake and chocolate brownies. The lemon cookies are also great, but once you try the butter cake, you'll forget about the cookies! I had forgotten how noisy the restaurant can get. This time, my chair faced the parking lot, and with it being dark outside, the headlights from the cars were distracting. Thankfully, someone sat at the table next to the window; otherwise, I would have requested a different table. We're already looking forward to our next visit!"

"it wasn't clear that I had eaten there before we arrived. When I saw the area of thinning, I remembered why I wasn't back. don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with thinning area, just a little stuffed for me. we are taken at table, in the midst of walking from the waiting staff and patrons. I immediately requested another table and my request was granted. two seats in the corner. works for me. we started with the goat cheese chestnut honey bruschetta. absolutely delicious. my wife had the minestrone suppe and I had the caesar salad. both were very good. for our escape my wife had the aubergineparmesan, and I had the tagliatelle bolognese. her court had good taste, but was served cold. she couldn't finish it. my bolognese was hot and delicious. only what was missing was brot to suck the engraving. overall it was a good experience. the food was delicious and the service was sufficient. the only negative were that out, the cramped room, the cold dish and the stinking perfume that was carried by someone at the neighboring table. Oh, and they charged me $2.00 for ice. it's just $2.00, but the server would have mentioned a fee for place ice!"

"This was my second trip to this restaurant in two days. But my experience with seating was horrible and as I think about it more I feel like vomiting my dinner I just ate. On my first visit my brother and I came to the restaurant with no reservation and we were seated in the very back of the restaurant. I refused to sit in the back and encouraged the hostest to seat us in the front with large windows. On my second visit I came with a reservation to an empty restaurant and again I was being showed the back dark booth. Upon reaching this seat I told the hostess the entire restaurant is empty why the worst table. I asked politely to be seated in the front by the windows. I encourage all to avoid this restaurant because this is racism 101. The restaurant was under the assumption that we were a GAY couple. Fortunately I was with my brother and we are not a Gay Couple. I imagine all Gay couples are sat in the back. I was told by the two managers who escorted me out that they have seat rotation. I observed that everyone who was seated after me was seated in the front of the dinning room. There was no seating in the back of the dinning room after me. The seat rotation never existed. While I explained this to the manager both hostesses turned so red like a tomato The city of Cincinnati does not accept the LGBQ Community nor does this restaurant. Please stay out and show respect to all. I am off to puke my dinner and will never come back here again. I look for everyone's support."
