"Buds wasn’t really what we were expecting. We have been into the bar a few times and in order to get to the bathroom you walk through the dining room. It’s white table cloth, looks fancy, good ambiance, but it’s a little misleading to say the least. The food was alright. We got the crab egg rolls which were good, I got the scallops which, again they were good, but my boyfriend got the chicken Chesapeake and it was disappointing. His chicken was so small and thin and had a rubber consistency. Was not worth the $33 price tag. The waitress seemed confused and had to ask us a few times what we ordered and what we were waiting on. Probably won’t be back in the dining room area, but would go to the bar side as they serve a similar menu, but with more burgers and bar food options which I feel is more of buds specialty."

The service was excellent and the menu had a nice variety of options. The cream of crab soup was delicious with plenty of crab meat. The blackened tuna was cooked perfectly. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

Highly recommend the seafood egg rolls. The waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu. She told me a dish didn’t come with a side, after I told her I didn’t like the veggie of the day, and I asked to sub it. However, my dish came with the veggie of the day.

The food was delicious overall. The sandwiches were well worth the price, but I was disappointed with the elk chop. It was quite small and expensive at $31. If I were to visit again, I would opt for a sandwich instead. The service was decent but not exceptional. View menu

Bud's never disappoints! We try to visit as often as we can, but since moving it is a bit further away for us unfortunately! Our server Billie Jo was terrific and we always enjoy our visits with Ken! The sprout salad was amazing and the seared scallops were perfect! Had to leave room for the creme brulee! Can't wait to go back and enjoy a wonderful meal again!

Raw Oysters, Fire poppers, cream of crab soup, crab cake and Rockfish were all very good. French dip sandwich was not great, and green beans with crab cake were a bit undercooked. Our server, Filene ?? was great and the manager and owner made it a point to come check in on us. The atmosphere is very nice with warm colors, natural finished wood floors, nice paintings photos and white table cloths with black cloth napkins. Will definitely return.
