"Wife and I had planned to do the Washington County Fiber Tour, but and the last minute found that our planned lunch stop (Steininger's in Salem) was closed, so we had to scramble to find a substitute. Burger Den was listed as a good bet in the area, and we were in the vicinity when it was time for lunch, so that's where we stopped. We were quite surprised. From the outside, this looks like something between a dive and a diner. But the menu is extensive, and our food was amazingly good. Wife had the baked salmon, while I had baked cod OK both sound a bit boring, but we like plain baked, broiled or grilled fish, and we try to eat healthy, so that's what we had. We we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Prices were very reasonable, and the service was excellent. The only negative was that we were seated at a table next to a couple of old timers' who were have a political discussion. Their voices were at a level where we could easily overhear the conversation which was a litany of Fox News propaganda. Its unfortunate that people have to have those opinions, but they don't need to broadcast them to everyone within shouting distance."

Haven’t been there in well over two years… pre pandemic. Had lunch with my dad there and food was as good as it always was. Delicious burger and hand cut fries. The servers were super nice and efficient. Can’t wait to return

Just ordered from here for the first time and have to say I'm extremely impressed and full. You can tell the chicken is real grilled chicken nd fresh. It was so amazing and the burgers were great. They make the food great and I definitely will recommend this to a friend and will definitely be ordering again!

We ordered twice during our stay and it was the best place to get a cheeseburger and fries. Everything on the menu is great, even for someone like me who doesn't eat red meat. We were visiting from out of state and were thrilled to have found this gem. I only wish we had a burger joint like this back home in New Hampshire!

Great food as always! Wonderful staff!Worst desert. Homemade Strawberry-Rhubarb' pie ....? Tasteless and I tested negative for Covid! The Crust was rubbery and equally without flavor. Waste of five dollars or a gallon of gas.Note: The Cole slaw was tasteful, , however, for us older ones, can be better enjoyed if cut smaller.Don't let this dissuade you from the local Gem , The Burger Den, Great Homecooking , Great menu, GREAT STAFF!

My wife and I had lunch at this restaurant and were pleased with our meals. The food was delicious, the prices were fair, and the service was impeccable. The restaurant was busy on a Saturday afternoon. Our only complaint was the loud conversation between two older men at the next table. I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinions, but these gentlemen were particularly vocal and their negativity was off-putting. It made for a somewhat unpleasant dining experience.
