"Cafe 37 is an absolutely gorgeous restaurant located in an historic building. When you go there, be sure to take note of the copper ceiling! The food is first-rate. This is a place to gather with friends and spend a nice evening over food and drink. If you want fast food, go to McDs. This restaurant is about the atmosphere and great food. It 's a place to take your time and savor each and every bite. Next door is Roper 's Saloon. Again, a tastefully (with some fun thrown in) decorated. You may order food there as well. Many TVs on the walls to watch the games, etc. Definitely not a 'dive ' bar; it is elegant and caters to a more sophisticated crowd as well as those wanting a good, fun, non-rowdy place to go."

Great place, very sophisticated food and atmosphere for a small town in Missouri. Very enjoyable.

I arrived on Monday night at 6:00 PM, but the restaurant was closed. I checked Yelp, which indicated that they were open.

I wanted it to be good, because it's a neat place, but it just wasn't. Food was bland. Flies everywhere, driving us crazy while eating. They knew steak was way overdone and asked if we wanted it anyways (why not just make it right? , and other person in our party was ill all night. View menu

We had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly. The menu is reasonably priced and offers a good variety of options, including entrees, small plates, and sandwiches, along with a full bar. Situated in the town square, it's a lovely location. We really enjoyed our meal and had a nice time chatting with the staff.

A very nice place to enjoy a wonderful experience! Held to high standards from the hostess to the kitchen! Toni will correct any issues if you ask for her. I am not posting this out of my fondness of cafe 37 or because I need work. I was a server and we and r employer gave a 100% if you were to have that horrific if an experience why not as for the owners or manager? Best if luck always!

The food was cold, and although our waitress apologized and said she would inform the manager, we never heard anything further. The bartenders didn't seem to know how to prepare drinks properly, and the hostess was rude and untrained, showing little understanding of hospitality. It's disappointing because we genuinely like the ambiance of the restaurant. We've always enjoyed the vibe, but each time we visit, we're let down. This time, we brought friends from New York who really appreciate good dining experiences. Cafe 37 had a great opportunity to impress, but unfortunately, it fell short. I wish I could give a better rating. View menu

"Perhaps if the prices matched the quality of the food, I would consider giving it a 3-star rating. However, as it stands, I find the food to be quite mediocre. It was clear that everything was either canned or frozen. My burger seemed like it was pre-formed from a freezer, which is not what I expect from a diner. The green beans were definitely from a can. My wife ordered the meatloaf, and she insisted it tasted more like stuffing. She wanted to order from the Club menu, but they don’t even serve carved turkey—just deli meat. Overall, while the meal was reasonably priced, it could definitely be a bit cheaper for what it was. My bacon cheeseburger wasn’t terrible, but it certainly didn’t stand out. My wife was thoroughly disappointed with her meal. To make matters worse, we both had to rush to the bathroom almost immediately afterwards. I don’t plan on eating here again, which is why I’m giving it a 2-star rating. This experience was just another reminder that it's often cheaper and tastes better to eat at home. I'm tired of being let down. What frustrates me the most is that I chose this restaurant based on its high ratings, but I just don’t believe it deserves more than a 3. Don’t be fooled, folks. P.S. Please stop offering margarine packets for the rolls; they taste like soap and ruined the roll for me. That alone set a negative tone for the rest of the dining experience, showing how cheap they are by not even providing real butter."
