"As a Black woman, I waited at the front for a little while before being seated. I requested to sit outside, and the staff member at the door told me to take a seat. However, I was not given water or a menu. A few minutes later, a white woman came in, and she was immediately greeted, seated, and provided with a menu while I was left waiting without assistance. This needs to improve!"

If I ever return to Malibu, this restaurant would not be an ooption for me and my family to return to. the restaurant was empty, Tuesday at 12 Slow service, slow to delivery the food, and when it arrived the food was cold. out of seriousness. horrible quality To pay $160. Is not worth it.

The restaurant is called Cafe Habana, but the only Cuban dish on their rather simple taqueria menu is a poorly executed cubano sandwich. The service was lacking in attentiveness. As for the atmosphere, it's an odd mix of inexpensive candles and Day of the Dead decorations that seem out of place. View menu

Stopped by for lunch when we were spending a day in Malibu. Pleasant outdoor seating area. Calamari was good. Tacos were ok. Service was friendly, but no sense of urgency. Visiting from Chicago, sometimes we have to adjust our expectations of good food and service. Maybe good for Malibu, overall decent.

Been wanting to try them out for the longest but unfortunately not much of a vibe if any. Staff seemed checked out and not happy to be there as well. Dark lit with low energy team has lots of potential for some good tunes and a fun after dinner vibe. Some live music and or a DJ on weekends would be sweet! Malibu needs some more energy!
