This cafe is right along the great divide bike route, and after a long stretch of rugged terrain. Coming upon this cafe was like finding the most lush oasis in a desert. Natalie our waitress greeted us opening the door and then went beyond in finding a serviceable espresso machine, and offering different versions of root beer to my partner. The food was delicious I had the blackened fish tacos, a perfect latte. Their eclectic playlist created a beautiful relaxed atmosphere with guitar, sitar, Middle East, 60’s. The owners husband‘s artwork created an overall sense of colorful folk art. Highest recommendation! Service: Dine in

Oh my! We were driving back from Ghost Ranch to Sante Fe and passed this sweet place doubled back and what a find! Gorgeous place, delightful and helpful staff who gave us a great tourist recommendation, excellent chai latte and heavenly home made cakes we had the brownie and Praline sour cream coffee cake and gobbled up very little bit! We had eaten lunch otherwise we would have had the savoury options too thank you lovely people of this fine establishment xx View menu

What a find. The food was so fresh and delicious. It was like your friend was making lunch for you. Filled with love! We ordered the steak tacos, joyful salad and Chile rellenos which were amazing. We also had a strawberry crepe, carrot cake and cheesecake. The desserts are really good and we ordered three (we kept adding more! Paired with a glass of wine and it was a perfect lunch. Our waitress Wenca was a delight and took such great care of us. Please stop here! You won’t be disappointed.

First of all let me tell you I am always on the quest for the perfect fish taco and I am always sorely disappointed. The best one I ever had was made at home by someone who knew what they were doing (not me! . That is until today. THE PERFECT FISH TACOS omg. I devoured them. I’d do a lot of things to taste those again. I just happened to be passing through and it was the best decision. The service was amazing, the waiter was superb and attentive. I cannot recommend this place enough! It’s a gem for sure :

Glad I did. We went on a saturday 1•11 positive energy, new beginnings...to try this place out for the first time. Vibes... Great artist work, paintings and bright colors, nothing dull here. Great selection on the menu. Abiqui has about half a dozen places to grab a bite to eat, Cafe Sierra Negra is a great stop, health oriented and has a wide selection of beverages as well. Wait was not long, food was hot and tasty. I ordered the Poblano Relleno, our substitute server was generally nice also. Indoor and outdoor seating...next to the hwy. View menu
