"I ordered the grilled tilapia with pastalaya, while my friend opted for the large onion rings and a half-and-half platter of fried shrimp and fish. When the side salad arrived, it consisted of a generous portion of uncut lettuce with only about four small slivers of tomato, perhaps a half teaspoon worth. Our waitress then informed us that they were out of tilapia and offered redfish or mahi-mahi as alternatives. I chose the blackened redfish. The onion rings came out next—around ten pieces—which were close to being overcooked but still had decent flavor. When our main dishes arrived, the half-and-half platter was definitely on the small side. The fish was underseasoned, although the small shrimp were enjoyable. The hush puppies had a good crust, but the inside was almost doughy. My blackened redfish, while a generous portion, was overcooked just enough to lose that nice flaking texture, and it lacked sufficient blackening seasoning. Additionally, I was charged an extra $4 for the redfish substitution without prior notification. Overall, I think the portions for the fried items are too small, and the overcooking of our dishes feels like an easily addressable issue. If seasoning is a concern, it would be helpful for the staff to ask customers about their preferences for light or heavy seasoning. I would consider returning, but I'd definitely communicate my preferences to the wait staff before placing my order. With a bit more attention to the quality of what leaves the kitchen, I believe they could significantly enhance the dining experience."

The food was disappointing, and we were charged a tip on our card that we did not authorize.

The food is amazing, the service is exceptional, and the crawfish is the best I've ever tasted. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I thought it was to expensive for the portion size. Waitressses dont get pay brought up to the minimum wage by the owner, took oyster po boy home, warmed it up, 3 of the oysters were to tough to chew. View menu

My family and I have dined here twice and we wholeheartedly recommend it to all our friends and relatives. The service was fantastic and the food was outstanding. The onion rings, fried fish, oysters, and shrimp were all perfection! We'll definitely be returning. My daughter absolutely loved the pasta jambalaya.

My husband and I went and ordered the country fried steak, it was raw. The macaroni and cheese was cheese sauce, no flavor, no salt or pepper. They forgot our salads. I would recommend they cook the steak prior to putting it in batter and trying it. The batter will cook the quickest, leaving the steak raw on the inside. we were so disappointed and will not be back.

I learned from a cooking show that an overly extensive menu can be a red flag for a restaurant. Unfortunately, this place had a vast selection. To keep it brief, I tried the fried pickles (9), shrimp and grits (7), fish plate (8), potato salad (2), hush puppies (3), and oysters (5). The food was quite inconsistent. The drinks were disappointing as well, as the tap water had a moldy taste. On a positive note, our server was fantastic. Overall, despite my curiosity about the rest of the menu, I likely won’t be returning. View menu

Cajun c's moved locations recently. This was the beat thing for this restaurant as their old location was out of the way. We ordered the muffelatta, it was very good. This would've been a 4 star but we asked for it hot and the meat in the middle was cold. The bun could've been toasted longer allowing the meat to get hotter. The muffelatta had a very good flavor and is large enough for 3 people to eat. The wait staff was so much nicer and attentive than at the older location. We will definitely be back as this new location is nicer and right in the middle of the busy part of town. Don't let this 3 star rating keep you from trying this restaurant.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I called in my order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived after that time, I ended up waiting an additional 40 minutes for my food. I ordered a 20-piece fish box, and it was incredibly disappointing. The fish was overcooked and didn't even taste like catfish; it tasted more like some cheap imitation fish. This was my second visit, as I wanted to give them another chance, but unfortunately, the food was just as bad as the first time. I really don't understand how this place is still in business. All they could offer was an apology. They will never get another cent from me, and I will definitely warn others to steer clear...
