I've been going here since I started working on Mill St. in 2018. The workers are always kind, fun and accommodating. I love that they exhibit local artists too. If you enjoy good quality coffee and a chill atmosphere to study or hang out, this is the place.

Delicious pastries and excellent coffee! I stopped here on my way to the airport to catch my flight back to California, and I wanted to savor one last taste of Pennsylvania. It was the perfect choice! I absolutely adore this little shop and the surrounding area.

I stop for coffee at least once a week. The coffee is strong, just the way I like it. The people that work there and owners are the nicest, and you can tell they all enjoy being there. Everyone loves this place for a reason: the coffee is DELICIOUS. So smooth, no bite. Nice staff. Always good music playing. They also sell beignets, a delish ham and cheese croissant, chocolate croissants, etc. and even have a selection of gluten free etc. snacks in a basket to the left of the ordering counter.

I just finished a week long road trip from Pittsburgh to Rochester, Syracuse, Scranton, and Philadelphia. Calm Waters Roasters was hands down THE BEST coffee I had in the more than 15 coffee stops I made on the trip.Great ambiance on a cute street next to a beautiful river view and the coffee was delicious. Go there.

My husband and I pride ourselves on our coffee knowledge, and we can confidently say this is the best local coffee we've discovered. We’ve been regulars since their opening and often buy bags to take home, in addition to enjoying their specialty drinks. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is always friendly.
