"Me and my friends had been looking for somewhere welcoming and friendly and upon doing some research we came across this place. The second we walked in the door we were greeted with absolutely amazing customer service. They welcomed us in like we were part of the family. The food was delicious and fresh. We tried a if you dare burger it was a pound of beef. Nice and juicy full of flavor. We got some apps while waiting on the food, the jalapeno poppers were mouthwatering. I rate this one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in Charlottesville. 10/10 thru and thru. If you are looking for somewhere that brings a comforting atmosphere and reasonable prices give them a try. They also do catering!"

This place is like a pearl a bit rough on the outside but a treasure inside. The food is delicious and you get plenty for the price. Friendly atmosphere, clean tables. I plan to return as often as I can.

I really enjoy the beans, coleslaw, mountain of fries, and macaroni salad, among other options. Customers are always treated well, and it's no surprise that this place is packed every time we visit. Since there's only one bartender/server, there might be a wait for your food, but this woman is incredibly efficient and can handle it all! The prices are unbeatable as well. It's truly a hidden gem.
