"what a sad day that cantina in 1511 is no longer a reliable Mexican fav in charlotte. the service was terrible minus the manager who was very helpful at the end of the night) and my eating was underoccupied, lasted at least 10 minutes to get it back, and then the same piece of fish was stolen and returned to me. the queen we got was not heated and when we had eaten, they brought the flesh to put it in the flesh, because it was not even mixed in. I was more disappointed about how poor the whole experience was when cantina was a favorite of us earlier. we were not about a year, and unfortunately the thing had gone significantly since then."

a very pleasant experience. the only complaining was that the wobbles in the salate were too strong. View menu

Delicious new sandwiches on the menu Tortas, on great Mexican buns. Chorizo and Cheese, Meatball and Cheese. Both so yummy.

First time trying this place! The guacamole is made fresh at your table and a must try. Very pleased with the enchiladas and salsa. Their taco menu is massive and they recently added 11 more taco options. I wish I was in town longer to try more items!

The cheese is amazing. The hostess had no personality and just put our service wear and walked away before we even made it away to the table. Then came back and slammed our water. Service was sub par at least our waitress smiled. We ordered 2 beers and an appetizer then left right after. Why spend money for something bad. View menu

The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere. I appreciated that it wasn't crowded. I tried the Po Boy shrimp tacos, and they were absolutely delicious! I also ordered the Baja fish taco, which was decent but not outstanding. For our appetizer, we had chips and dip, and that was really tasty. Our waitress was fantastic and very attentive.

Husband ordered the pastelitos and when the food came he took one bite and the inside was cold. They took it back and instead of firing a new dish, they microwaved it and brought it back out. We know this because the one pastelito had the bite taken out of it. Microwaving it made the dough go from crispy to soggy. I ordered three tacos and one of the tacos I got was the wrong one. I just ate it. Waitress was inattentive and the bartender noticed and came over to check on us and got the check for us. Overall a bad experience and will be going to the park road location from now on instead.

"My friends and I were enjoying a beautiful night in South End and one of them had found this place online. So we stopped by for a drink. Wow! Gorgeous place! The interior design gave me the warm, welcoming feeling of being at The Grand Bohemian Lodge in Greenville SC- upscale, but unpretentious, inviting, and fun. We were immediately welcomed by the bartenders who talked to us about their different beers and kombuchas. We ordered a couple of flights to sample as many as we could and sat down to play Jenga in one of their many seating areas. Our spot was 2 old leather couches flanking a gorgeous wooden coffee table. So relaxing and sociable. I’ve never been in a brew pub with so much greenery (ferns and other foliage adorn and drape from the rafters filling corners and crannies around the room), natural wood, and light! Another great feature was a floor-to-ceiling wall cabinet filled with really cool things. The beers were unique and fun to try. The vibe is worth the visit even if you don’t love beer. I enjoyed a glass of prosecco and loved learning about and sampling the other beverages. They also have a great outdoor space for gathering where dogs are welcome. My sense is this place was designed for building community, which is something we all need more of. Turn off your cellphones and come here to meet people, pet dogs, and enjoy a great experience!"
