"Extremely disappointed. I ordered an Italian grinder with lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and vinegar. I got Italian grinder meats, no lettuce, possibly some oil and spices and MAYO. Who puts mayonnaise on an Italian grinder?? Especially when I didn't ask for it. The overall sandwich was ok besides ruining my lunch with mayonnaise that I didn't ask for. Got a steak grinder also and the person with me liked it. I cannot give more stars even with the food being ok because I don't feel I can return to a place that adds mayonnaise to everything when it isn't asked for. I just do not like mayonnaise that much..."

I ordered a cheese steak, and it was packed with steak—absolutely loved it! It was so sizable that I could only eat half and ended up feeling full. The customer service was excellent as well!

Meh. I remember long ago Captain Harvey's was THE place to go for big overstuffed subs etc. I haven't been there in a long long time. Went tonight and got an Italian Cold Cut sub and was very disappointed. I wouldn't even call it Sub Shop quality. It was like something anyone could toss together in their home. View menu

I'm originally from Dundalk and live in Harford County for 38 years now and me and my husband got 2 cheesesteak there yesterday 2/12/22. We saw that they have new owners and honestly it was really good. The meat is not like the old Captain Harvey's of Dundalk but it's good. I would most definitely recommend this place.

Wow! I was a LEO in the Dundalk area and a frequent customer 20 plus years ago to the Original restaurant. I was in the area and thought about a Captain Harvey's cheese steak. In speaking with the workers at this establishment I don't think they're still affiliated with the original but man ol man the cheese steak sub reminded me of 20 years ago! A+ service and a great overstuffed half sub for $9 equal to most places full sized sub! Diamond in the rough will be back again soon!
