"My date and I visited Captain Woody's after leaving Coligny Beach with empty stomachs. She mentioned that she had never tried mussels before, so I searched for a nearby restaurant and remembered this place from my previous visits. After we were seated, our server, whose name I unfortunately forgot, took our drink and entree orders. The mussels arrived first, and they were delicious, especially paired with the garlic bread. Even though it was her first time trying them, she absolutely loved them—kudos to the cooks! I ordered a drink that I can't quite recall the name of, but I know it started with an "m" and was both good and strong. Finally, our entrees came out, hot and fresh, and everything was incredibly tasty, as you can see in the picture. In short, would I come back? Absolutely! If you enjoy good food, drinks, a great atmosphere, and excellent service, I highly recommend giving Captain Woody's a try."

I absolutely love this restaurant! During our three weeks on the island, we visited three times. The calamari is amazing, and the grouper bites, clam strips, Kentucky beer cheese dip, and crab cakes are all delicious too!

We have been dining at Captain Woody 's on each of oour visits for 25 years or so. and have followed woody thru 3 moves. Last week the meal was alittle off. Our salads came first after a drink was sered, then before we had a good start on them the CAPTAINS TRIO was placed in front of us way too fast . The Trio was not as hot as it should have been.. It was loaded with scallops and Shrimp yum ! but very little fish. The vegies were tasty but also not hot and were crispy THATS GOOD CRISPY . We hope this was a one time experience. We will be back on our next visit hoping thing improve to their former quality.
