Carrboro Pizza Oven

First time eating Detroit style pizza. Kinda pricey for couple slices compared to dominoes for example but by FAR THE MOST OUTSTANDING PIZZA AROUND!!!!

I ordered takeout pizza and have tried other places in the area that received great reviews. This one, by far, is the best pizza! I will definitely be ordering again.

We order carrboro pizza oven every Friday, it's delicious and they're totally on their game when it comes to having the pizza come out right when requested. Ordering online and curbside pickup is very convenient.

Near East Village, I had Joe's NY Pizza in Carrboro. It wasn't burnt to a crisp, and Spider-Man didn't eat here, but it's really great and satisfying. If you're looking for a different vibe, give Brenz a try – it's also awesome. But if you're just after a simple, fantastic slice of cheese pizza, this is the place to go.

We had herbie after we walk around Carrboro all day. The pizza was delicious, and the environment in a small, bohemian feeling mall was perfect. The staff was friendly and the waiting was short. Great pizza joint. They have an old-school slide-in pizza oven and they bake their garlic knots to order. My second daughter was won over by the owner, who gave her a free garlic knot after she watched him make them for about 45 minutes. The pizza is wonderful. I'm a pizza nut. I love the stuff. I have sampled every restaurant in the area that offers gluten-free pizza, and Carrboro Pizza takes the top spot! The gluten-free pizza is just as delicious as the regular one, or so my friends say. It's outstanding, and I have no intention of going anywhere else for my pizza cravings. I'm truly thankful for the gluten-free option! The only addition I would love to see is a high-quality dairy-free cheese option.

This pizza definitely deserves five stars! I should mention that it’s on the pricier side for its size, and I’m glad I double-checked before leaving because they forgot the balsamic vinegar that I paid extra for. However, it’s still worth a visit. The garlic knots were packed with flavor and made for a fantastic side dish. We created our own pizza with tomatoes, basil, and balsamic vinegar, and it was incredibly delicious—not a bit burnt. If I lived nearby, I would definitely make Carrboro Pizza Oven a regular stop!
