"A beautiful restaurant in downtown Placerville, California. Great atmosphere, excellent service and, for the most part, really good food. The one-star deduction is because I think that a great Mexican restaurant should have great salsa. Cascada's salsa is really bland with zero spice. Tip: if you ask, they will provide some habanero sauce that you can add to the salsa. Careful ... it's really hot, but it does improve the salsa."

Good service, food was delivered not quite hot enough, and food would be better if more highly spiced. Could use a spicy Chicken Mole dish, offered with your choice of black or red mole.

The food was absolutely fabulous. I had the chicken enchiladas rancheros. It was the most tasty enchilada I’ve ever had! The service was great. The restaurant was beautiful with delightful artwork!
