The food quality was absolutely five stars, featuring incredibly rich and delicious buttery sauces. We had chicken piccata, Caesar salad, and the amazing flourless chocolate decadence cake. The staff were very accommodating, and I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s located in a somewhat industrial area, which made me feel a bit lost at first, but there’s a large parking lot available. I discovered that this is one of my brother’s favorite Italian restaurants!""

"Not only our favorite restaurant in Sumner, but one of our all-time lovers in the counties King and Pierce. A beautiful, quiet and old-fashioned warm home like setting with friendly staff and owners who simply serve fabulous food. Breakfast, lunch or dinner are all exceptional and we never had a meal that we did not rave. We often have guests from the city that we have taken to the restaurant and also they are delighted with the service, the food and insist that we visit it again on their next trip. It is difficult to call here or have a favorite meal, because everything is good, but if I had to call one thing, it would be the Prime Rib-Dip sandwich, which (in our opinion) is without equal everywhere! To assure yourself of a delicious meal, remember to make reservations so that you will not be disappointed upon arrival to find the restaurant is fully booked."

"A hidden gem for sure! I work as a DoorDash driver as a side hustle and delivered from this restaurant many times, I’ve lived in the Sumner area all my life and have always passed this restaurant in my travels, I decided to give it a shot today, the food had amazing flavor and was given ample amounts of Soy Sauces and condiments, a mighty neighborly gesture!"

"We chose to sit in a booth for the comfort of our group, but the only available booth still needed to be cleared. Despite this, we were happy to wait. Unfortunately, the server walked past us and greeted other customers who arrived after us before finally coming to our table. She rudely pointed out that there were other clean tables available. When I explained that we preferred a booth, she walked away without saying anything else. Feeling disrespected, we decided to leave. I usually don't complain about restaurant service, as I know it can be a tough job, but in this case the staff was clearly rude. This is a rare occurrence for me. We then visited The Rose, where we were immediately greeted and treated with kindness. The difference in service was remarkable. We will not be returning to the Meridian Cafe."
