"I visited the restaurant on New Year’s Day and ordered the pork and sauerkraut. The meal was served with a salad, mashed potatoes, and sweet potato casserole. Unfortunately, everything was lukewarm. The pork was quite fatty and tough, while the mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant. The sweet potato casserole had a chalky flavor, and the salad lettuce was stale with brown edges. When I mentioned my concerns to the cashier, he asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. However, the server next to him suggested that it probably wouldn’t make a difference, as that’s just how they prepare their food. Given the poor quality of the meal, I don't plan to return, and that’s why I’m writing this review. Additionally, the prices were quite high."

What a great diner! We stopped in on our annual road trip from FL to PA last year, and we are already planning on stopping this year too. We had breakfast, it was wonderful, and so was the service. Definitely planning on making the Chambersburg Diner an annual tradition--sorry we can't get here more often.

My husband and most of my family come here, about 1-1/2 years now. ! We have birthday parties, thanksgiving, pretty much everything there! Not once have we ever gotten cold food, bad food or bad service, Always great, I've been in customer service for over 45 years and let me say, I hope this place does't change, like others do!! We always try to ask for Karen, she's an older waitress, but always friendly, and a great server!! I'll be going there, God willing for years to come!! Keep on Keeping on!!!!!!

My husband and most of my family have been dining here for about a year and a half now. We celebrate birthdays, Thanksgiving, and pretty much everything else here! We've never received cold food, bad food, or experienced poor service; it's always been excellent. I have worked in customer service for over 45 years, and I truly hope this place doesn’t change like others have! I put an order for pickup, Quesadilla and Western Omelet. Quesadilla missing fries, homeries in the Omelet box were tasteless. Looks like the house frits on the grill are uncooked. The setup will do that when I called the diner and asked to deliver the fries, I was rejected. I expect simple orders to be correct and when you come home to sit down and eat what you order while the food is still hot. Save your money and go anywhere service exists. I won't return. I was charged at full price and no refund offer was received. Some of the order was to provide the diner with a phone number and I was not contacted by the diner staff. Terrible experience.
